GUNS N' ROSES To Play Las Vegas In September

According to the web site of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, GUNS N' ROSES are scheduled to play at The Joint on September 16 and September 17. Tickets go on sale on August 19. As previously reported, GUNS N' ROSES will headline KROQ's Inland Invasion 2006 on September 23 at the Hyundai Pavillion at Glen Helen in Devore, California. Additional U.S. dates are expected in the fall. GUNS N' ROSES frontman Axl Rose has been saying that the band's long-delayed new album, "Chinese Democracy", will be out later this year. GUNS N' ROSES' "Greatest Hits" collection, which was originally issued in March of 2004, was certified triple-platinum on April 11, 2006 by the RIAA ( Recording Industry Association of America) for shipments in excess of three million copies. The CD sold more than 13,000 copies in the United States last week alone (week ending August 6), bringing the total number of copies sold since its release to 3.09 million, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Axl Rose, along with ex-members Slash and Duff McKagan, tried to block the release of "Greatest Hits" with a lawsuit, claiming that the record label had assembled the CD without their input. The band's label, Geffen Records, insisted that it was forced to put out a greatest hits album since Axl Rose had failed to deliver the long-delayed new GUNS album, "Chinese Democracy". don't care if it isnt guns n roses, i thought appetite for destruction was BORING but i really enjoy the chinese democracy tracks "better" and "there was a time"
this is a good show to go to, to see some very impressive guitar work too (fortus and bumblefoot, hell yeah!)

I think, Axl's doin really good nowadays without Slash and Duff.
I'm really happy about Izzy comin back. Not yet, but he'll be back soon.
Axl doesn't need Slash and Duff to be cool. Of course it would be great if they were together again but it was their choice to be out of GN'R.
You have to face it people.
Every time I read news about Axl, I find bunch of fuckers tellin shit.
