JUDAS PRIEST Featured On 'Scarface: The World Is Yours' Soundtrack - Aug. 17, 2006
JUDAS PRIEST's classic track "Breaking the Law" is among the songs appearing on Vivendi Games' Sierra Entertainment division's "Scarface: The World Is Yours", due in October for PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC platforms. Other songs chosen to enliven the 190s setting include DEBBIE HARRY's "Rush Rush" and BETH ANDERSON's "Dance Dance Dance" from the film score, JOHNNY CASH's "I'm an Easy Rider", IGGY POP's "The Passenger", PUBLIC ENEMY's "Don't Believe The Hype", RUN-D.M.C.'s "Sucker MCs", RICK JAMES' "Super Freak" and "Give It To Me Baby", MERLE HAGGARD's "Workin' Man's Blues", GRANDMASTER FLASH's "The Message" and PETER TOSH's "Steppin' Razor".

The 130-song-plus soundtrack also will feature more than two dozen of today's top rap and hip-hop stars, including some original songs for the game, with final contracts in the works.

130 + songs? Sounds more like an mtv game than a gangster game. Who needs all that music..you need gunshots, car tires squealing, and people screaming when they are shot.

lol^^^^^^^^^
Nice :D

COMMENT | ^^^that's true, what a waste, the game will probably lag with all that music!!^^

As much as I enjoyed the movie Scarface, I feel it no longer belongs to me due to the acceptance of the producers to cater to the illiterate, talentless hacks of the hip-hop "culture". Including a sad excuse for a documentary on its DVD reissue about Scarface's impact on hip-hop was bad enough, but having the lion's share of the soundtrack devoted to this pathetic bastardization of music is almost completely unacceptable. Fuck rap and fuck you.

on the contrary a great soundtrack only adds to a game
look at grand theft auto
the problem is that usually the song picked for games are crap

It was a sad day when video game makers decided to start putting popular music into games. If Super Mario Bros. came out today, you'd be hearing Ludacris or Britney Spears instead of the classic level themes.

Hooray, another rap soundtrack. That will put all intelligent gamers off what is probably a good game. Just like a Britney Spears video clip, press the mute button.

That must mean top sellers, because there's no innovation at all in today's rap scene. When I hear rap on the radio I instictively turn the dial.
