ITV.com reports that Ozzy Osbourne has been voted Britain's silliest celebrity. The BLACK SABBATH frontman has taken the coveted top spot on the list, which was compiled from a survey of more than 2,000 people. The Top 20 Britain's silliest celebrities, according to ITV.com: 01. Listen,
Ozzy doesn't need to be discredited from being the best person alive! When he was no-one, in my eyes he would have been someone. No one realizes that he was such a nobody being in a band who had no clue of ever being who they became. Don't give that incredible person the negativity of fame because of MTV and VH1, he deserved it way way way long ago, and he got it. Ozzy is the best singer ever, in my opinion, from the start he sounds better than any vocalist in the planet. He got older and Sharon has a lot to say about what he does, but that man's heart is the purest of the rockers and I wish there could be a modern day OZZY but there will never be another, so Fucking show some fucking respect!!!!! OZZY IS the best, I love Him for all his teachings

For fame and even more hideous sums of money, and this is what happens. Ozzy wont be remeberd for Sabbath, or for giving the world randy rhoads. He'll be remebered as a confused drunk stumbling around his house while his wife pulls on the puppet strings.
Ozzy will always be a legend, but he's become a really sad sight.

And I agree Kerry king is sloppy. His guitar playing has actualy gotten worse over the years. Go listen to "Show No Mercy", there are actualy some pretty good solo's on that album.
Jeff Hanneman is way better than Kerry King anyways...

I will always support Ozzy no matter what. He put out some great work for over 30 years, starting with his albums with Black Sabbath, and nothing he does now can ever take away from that. Show some respect! And as for knocking him for being wrapped around Sharon's finger--so the fuck what?!? She's his WIFE, for crying out loud, she stuck with him through thick and thin, through the endless tours, groupies, allegations of illegitimate children, and the one time that Ozzy was so drunk that he nearly strangled Sharon to death. So FUCK whoever would dare discount the man and wife after all his achievements(some of which might not have even been made if not for Sharon's support), and FUCK whoever would support his name being on the top of this "Silly" list.
I should only hope to accomplish even half the things that Ozzy has, and I'm sure some of you on this forum would, too.!

What about that guy who played Father Ted? Of course he's Irish, drats.. Still.. Ozzy is some massive product. There is no "Ozzy". There is a man named John Osbourne who gets way too much credit for "metal." What exactly did he do? OF COURSE! He was a frontman for a band, of whom he didn't contribute any to maybe a few musical writings and lyrics, a band that he stood in front of as they played the blues rock tunes, to the dreadful music inspired by Geezer Butlers lyrics.
Speaking of rotten teeth, do you floss everynight? To call a whole country "morons" is being under-educated. You sound like those dumb Americans who live in a box and are completely alienated from any sort of culture. I've seen rotten teeth about everywhere.
Ozzy is from England anyways, so for his own country to call him silly isn't so bad after all. It isn't blasphemy. This is the man who can't put out a full structered sentence.. If he didn't act the way he did, he wouldn't be famous. Most of you people only like him for his few popular hits and his t.v. show. Metal is an evolution. Beethoven was the founder of "metal" in his era.
Thanks to amplification, "metal" is a common thing. Thank the inventors of the electric bass and electric guitar for starting metal as a subculture.
Narrow minded people amaze me. Labratories welcome folk like that. Waste of breath, aren't they?

right, this is a poll done by 2000 of the general population by a tv company, most of whom probably didnt know who ozzy was, he is top of this list because most people in britain watched the osbournes and found him funny/ridiculous. number 2 - boris johnson is equally loved because of his eccentric nature!
