GUNS N' ROSES: More U.S. Tour Dates Announced

GUNS N' ROSES has added more dates to its U.S. itinerary. The schedule is now shaping up as follows:
Sep. 16 - Las Vegas, NV @ The Joint
Sep. 17 - Las Vegas, NV @ The Joint
Sep. 20 - San Francisco, CA @ The Warfield
Sep. 21 - San Francisco, CA @ The Warfield
Sep. 23 - Devore, CA @ Inland Invasion 2006
Sep. 27 - Fresno, CA @ Save Mart Center
Sep. 29 - Bakersfield, CA @ Rabobank Arena
Sep. 30 - Reno, NV @ Reno Events Center
Oct. 02 - Sacramento, CA @ ARCO Arena
Oct. 03 - San Diego, CA @ iPayOne Center
GUNS N' ROSES frontman Axl Rose has been saying that the band's long-delayed new album, "Chinese Democracy", will be out later this year.
GUNS N' ROSES' "Greatest Hits" collection, which was originally issued in March of 2004, was certified triple-platinum on April 11, 2006 by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) for shipments in excess of three million copies.

GNR is such a great band, it's to bad that Axle couldn't handle the fame. All of you dudes who get famous got to remember OLD old old tunes and try to create something that has never been done before, just because it's how you are feeling at the time. GNR is such a talented band and deserves all the promps period. I really wish they could all just re-group and give us more of what they are capable of.... COme on Axle!!!! You're a legendary God! Slash!! fuck man, Buckethead is nasty but I think you are better in GNR's.... Weak opinion and don't know so much history but Love the band!!!!

I hope megadeth somes up with impressive shit! Seriously there has been a re-surgence of such cool bands who never broke up and maintained!!!!!! Thanks be to that! Fuck'n A! OThe New Deicide Is the best, hands down, what album is better than this? I want to know, Fuck, Jack Ownes and Ralf have been so inpressive all the way through, I'm on the 8th listen! I havn't listened to a record this many times in such a long time, Please tell me if I'm crazy or right on the mark..... DEICIDE Takes the cake, listen to the solos'! I can't imagine any better metal solos... Stear me if i'm wrong, No Children of Bodm Suck in comparison you fucking tool! DOn't evern Request it!! You're missing the point.!! I am glad to see more dates are being announced because this means more nights of disappointed Axl fans throwing bottles at this 110lb redheaded whinning bitch.

right. now my question. when should he have changed the name from GNR to something else? let's read the history.
1985 - original members including Tracii Guns who given his name to GNR are leaving. is this band still Guns N' Roses? paranoid
1990 - Steven Adler is fired. the band is starting to collapse. the fight for the power is starting.
1991 - Izzy, the last original member besides Axl leaves the band. Izzy will be back just for a few shows in 1993 to help because Gilby broke his hand.
1994 - Gilby Clarke's work is ending and he's quit from the band. damn no, one personal change is not a reason to rename the band, is it?
1996 - Slash leaves. Matt and Duff are still in the band. should we change the name right now? umm...
1997 - Matt lets himself fired. maybe this is the opportunity to change the name smile
1998 - Robin Finck, maybe Chris Vreena or Josh Freese are in the band, but Duff is still a member. so we can't change the name, right?
1999 - Duff finally quits and Tommy Stinson from Replacements replaces him - and he can do it pretty well smile what about now, will we change the name of the band when we're going to release a first single in 6 years? and what about Robin? he's leaving the band. we have to rename... uhh... no we can't
2000 - the new lineup is done. Buckethead and Brain join the band. damn. seems we missed the right year to rename the band paranoid
2002 - Paul Tobias quits the band and Richard is joining. who the hell is this guy? this is not Guns N' Roses man, this looks gay. they can't even properly finish the tour. there are riots, they try to act like old GNR? that's gay
2004 - Buckethead leaves.
2006 - Ron Thal is joining the band and GNR are finally back, stronger than ever. what about renaming the band now? paranoid some idiot fans want it unibrow

when adler was fired the music dynamics changed, sorum was/is a mechanical drummer.
Quote " when adler left nothing worked, the swing was gone in the music" (Izzy Stradlin). I realize adler is a major fuck up then/now so I am not defending him.
The traci gunns era didn't release anything and the bumblefuck,fink,buckethead,tobias, etc have release nothing as well. Having said all that Axl can sing circles around anyone back in the day, as for now I will reserve judgement until I hear new music,if it happens. Insert coma lryics here

The touring line-up in the early 90's which consisted of 6 guys plus a few extras here and there only had 3 original members..axl slash and duff....everybody accepted them as GNR without question...so whats the big deal now that axl made 2 more replacements to the original lineup? GNR has always been a revolving door of musicians coming and going....
