RUSH Drummer's Big-Screen Voice Debut Delayed

According to a posting on the RUSH fan site Power Windows, RUSH fans will have to wait for Neil Peart's big-screen voice debut awhile longer. Originally expected to be in theaters this fall, the "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" movie has been delayed until February 2007, with some people speculating that it will in fact be released straight to DVD due to poor expectations of ticket sales. In a January 2006 interview with creators Matt Maeillaro and Dave Willis, Maeillaro stated "We got Neil Peart to be in it. The drummer from RUSH. No, we didn't get Geddy Lee. We didn’t need him for this. We're waiting for the sequel for Geddy Lee," while Willis quipped, "We're done with Geddy Lee. Geddy Lee missed his opportunity. Poor expectation of ticket sales? Yet people will throw away thier hard earned money to go see shitty Hollywood remakes and chick flicks? Too bad.

Ummm, no. Actualy he was hospitalized because they found some sort of tumor on his brain. Im pretty sure he's ok now thou, seeing asthough he's currently touring with CSNY.

Dude, Neil young has shared a stage with a far more impressive list of Icons than ANY metal musician ever has.
When you make ignorant comments like that, you might aswell announce to everyone here that you are:
A) Too Young to realise the impact that he has had on music.

He know lives in Santa Monica, not Sandy Eggo.
P.S. Neil Young is a musical genius. Sure, he may not be Nu-Metal, Mall-Core, or Death Metal, but he has writtne some of the most amazing songs in this lifetime. Listen closely to his lyrics and you'll understand why.

anyone would have hard words about Neil Young, one of the greatest of all time. I learned to play acoustic guitar through the "Decade" songbook and album (back when artists released albums). I'd rather listen to NY than Vomitfucker, or whatever shit-metal band is hot right now.

I have friends who are most definitely psychologically dependent on pot. Not the same as a physical addiction (such as OxyContin or heroin), but a type of addiction nonetheless.
