TYPE O NEGATIVE, SEPULTURA, FEAR FACTORY, ILL NINO 'Best Of' Artwork Revealed

On September 12, Roadrunner Records will be releasing a set of ultimate metal albums. These "best of" collections will pull together the best material from some of metal's greatest artists. The first batch includes music from FEAR FACTORY, SEPULTURA, ILL NINO and TYPE O NEGATIVE. the covers look the same as the coal chamber one and all the other roadrunner "best ofs". i like all those bands, but it seems like it's anything for the money.

There's room enough on a CD for 16-18 track typically, but all of these only have 12 or 13. So much for getting our money's worth. That's bullshit.

they clearly didn't hire a professional graphic artist and it's a shame. apparently they don't expect to make much from these albums, since they all have the same hideous artwork.

well, i'm going to buy the best of ill nino album, because i have the others and they're one of my favorite bands, but i think roadrunner did a horrible job putting it together, the songs are a good pick, but the cover and pictures? thrown together like a last minute project, pathetic roadrunner, pathetic.

Whats going on with RoadRunner?
Shitty jobs on all these covers. It's a shame, those bands deserve a bit more attention in the graphics dept.
I love type 0, sepultura, and Ill Nino but I won't buy the best of' albums, RR is just trying to make a fast buck...silly rabbits...
Enthusiasm is the mother of effort, and without it nothing great was ever achieved. (RWE) If nothing else I feel sorry for the people at RR, where is the passion? I used to love and respect RR but come on how many more bands are they going to sign?From their past campaigns it doesn't seem that they're adequately staffed. Is their new marketing strategy the ol' hit and miss? I hate to get personal, but I've always been down with RR for years, and music is personal.
I would check out their new stuff every chance I got, joined there e- team...I had hoped that they wouldn't sell out and become your run of the mill label, a regular cash cow...
(shakes head in disappointment)
