KORN Fans Will Shoot Video For Next Single 'Politics' - Aug. 26, 2006
Ever dream of being a director? Wanna shoot a video? KORN is asking their Chicago and Milwaukee fans that very question.

KORN wants everyone to see the excitement going on out on The Family Values Tour so they are planning on shooting their live video for their latest single, "Politics", during their performance this Saturday, August 26 at the Alpine Valley Ampitheatre in East Troy, Wisconsin.

Along with a traditional camera shoot the band is putting handheld cameras in the hands of TEN lucky members of its fanclub and local area fans who will be given all-access passes to shoot the performance and any behind-the-scenes footage that they choose.

Their footage will be included in the final edit of the video that will be serviced to MTV, MTV2, Fuse, and all other music video outlets.

Send an e-mail with your name, contact information, and some of your ideas to kornvideo@familvalueslive.com and we'll get back to you if you have what it takes.

What would you shoot during the song? If you have links to videos you have shot send those too!

All participants must have a valid driver's licence or state-issued ID and a second form of ID which could include an ATM card, credit card, or Social Security card. You will be required to leave these with the production while you have the camera checked out.

korn's my favourite band, but they haven't chosen their singles wisely on the last three albums. three albums, man, everytime i see videos for the singles, i keep thinking who makes the selections which song gets the video

the idea is cool, but i don't care about that song

The only thing I liked about Korn were the seven-string guitars. That fad has died out though...for the most part.

I don't think it has died. Unearth, Mercenary, Raunchy, Messhuggah, just to mention a few, still use 7 strings.

Good point. I just meant that at, one point, everyone wanted a seven string; all the guitar shops were bringing them in as quick as possible...that seems to have changed. Guitar magazines no longer seem to review them as much in terms of their 'new gear' sections. The new guitar know as 'seven' seems popular though.

dark shinobi, do you play guitar?

1993-1994 Pretty awesome best korn album - korn, (compared to bands like slayer and albums like seasons in the abyss, average if that)
1994-1999 Pretty good, issues being the best of this era
untouchables - take a look, ok. Not worth more than a fiver.

see you on the otherside,
does anyone remember before this album came out what korn said? ... it will be heavy.

High hopes for another self titled? Ha.

Korn should either go home and retire or just do live gigs playing the whole first album with hints of life is peachy and various other songs.

korn fans were born in a generation with no real musicians???? Ya fuckin retard, you are really proving to everyone youre only like 16 or 17. If you are gonna post comments here, tuck in your skirts, get your head out of your ass and do some research. Eric Clapton, BB King, Buddy Guy, Messhugga, Pearl Jam, Steve Vai, Eric Johnson, Les Claypool, Jason Becker, Zakk Wylde, Dimebag....I could keep going but you would have no clue who Im talking about because you are a little narrow minded, booger-eating, ball-rubbing, ass-tickling scene kid who thinks Taking Back Sunday are the new fuckin Beatles. All of these nusicians were around during and before Korns installments. This generation that youre talking about has had one of the most diverse pool of musicians to learn from and get inspired in the last 40 years. Whether its blues, rock, metal or classical, the generation that were born in the late 70's and early 80's have had plenty of phenominal musicians to watch. And that IS the era that started following korn when they began (Any Korn show you go to you will notice right away that 80 percent of their crowd are people in their late 20's or early 30's). Not the little cock-hungry wannabe metal bitches that are Tae Bo-ing in metal pits today. Metal will never accept people like that or should I say people like you Gringoz. Fire back if you like, but just like your penis im sure youll be firing blanks.

All of you people need to back the fuck up.......Korn is "THE BEST THERE IS, THE BEST THERE WAS, AND THE BEST THERE EVER WILL BE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are my favorite band. I am 23 and I have been listening to them since fucking '94. At times I know I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for Korn.......(Jon, you're a fucking genious). I know how much Korn cares about their fans and I think this is a fuckin' great idea....Man my only dream is life is to see Korn live. I wouldn't even know what to do with myself.....I would probably cry my ass of!!! Anyways......Korn keep up the good work!!! I loved every song on every album and every song in between.....NEVER STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok for one i dont fucking like bret... each day i sit and play day of reckoning two killing bret hart (he sucks i even got all my stats past his) and serving him till he gives up. i dont even pin him. for two we switched from korn to russling. for three the new korn is getting extremly old, the old ones are way better i meen which would you rather choose polotics or faces of death, polotics has "pay the farryman pay the fucking driver" and faces of death which you know what it means... take some time and think about it.

You're not the right one dumb damn rapper
Not the right goddamn
Who are you to rap shit take off
And who says you're right
On top you think you'r bomb artista
But you're bent out of oooo right
Suck my dick
But don't you think that you're oooo right
Sometimes things might make me ooo ooo it makes me mad
And when it happens fuck it
Rugged in mind a hint by bite
Why does it not exist in you?
Right, shit, why hit in yet another day
Woo hoo right
It's not woo hoo right
But you'r wrong

Twist

Put me in right now make mad
Prove that you're right
Somehow you're not right, huh
But that doesn't make me mad
Right now you're beggin' for a little brew
All night
Yeah it's so simple
I had some Red Dog, you hand over it
