DROID Recording Debut Album For KORN Guitarist's Label

Long Beach, California-based metal/hardcore act DROID is currently recording its debut album that will be released on Emotional Syphon Recordings, the new label formed by KORN guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer. The as-yet-untitled effort will reportedly feature a guest appearance by DEFTONES frontman Chino Moreno on "one of DROID's heaviest songs on the record." A late September/early October release is expected.
DROID was one of the acts performing on the second stage at this year's KORN-headlined Family Values tour. The band previously toured the U.S. with KORN and LIMP BIZKIT as part of the Back 2 Basics trek.

Driod are a bad ass band....and very down to earth people.....been watching these guys since like 2000. they deserve it.

BORING.....Korn will never be what the once were, and Limp Bizkit was the Biggest Joke ever to the music industry!!!
