According to a posting on the
KORN fan site
Korn.Simpol.net, a CD/DVD release of
The Family Values Tour 2006 is tentatively due late 2006/early 2007.
KORN frontman
Jonathan Davis told
HardDrive Radio at the
Family Values stop in Toronto, Ontario on Monday (Aug. 28) that a
Family Values Tour 2006 CD/DVD release will see the light of day in a few months. The band has been filming the entire tour since it began on July 29 in Nashville, Tennessee.
In other news,
Davis told
HardDrive Radio that he is feeling great and is now off steroids. He is eating better and has lost 15 pounds since contracting the ITP (Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura) blood disorder in June. He also revealed that he has been working on new material and has six songs in the works for the next
KORN album with guitarist
James "Munky" Shaffer and production team
The Matrix.
As previously reported,
KORN will re-release its seventh studio album,
"See You on the Other Side", on September 26 in an expanded edition. The new version will include a
"Chopped and Screwed" remix EP, live tracks, bonus DVD footage and more.
"See You on the Other Side" was originally issued last December and has sold over one million copies since its release.
KORN currently tours with four additional musicians onstage, including an extra guitarist, a keyboard player, and a background singer.
