KORN: 'The Family Values Tour 2006' CD/DVD On The Way - Aug. 31, 2006
According to a posting on the KORN fan site Korn.Simpol.net, a CD/DVD release of The Family Values Tour 2006 is tentatively due late 2006/early 2007. KORN frontman Jonathan Davis told HardDrive Radio at the Family Values stop in Toronto, Ontario on Monday (Aug. 28) that a Family Values Tour 2006 CD/DVD release will see the light of day in a few months. The band has been filming the entire tour since it began on July 29 in Nashville, Tennessee.

In other news, Davis told HardDrive Radio that he is feeling great and is now off steroids. He is eating better and has lost 15 pounds since contracting the ITP (Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura) blood disorder in June. He also revealed that he has been working on new material and has six songs in the works for the next KORN album with guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer and production team The Matrix.

As previously reported, KORN will re-release its seventh studio album, "See You on the Other Side", on September 26 in an expanded edition. The new version will include a "Chopped and Screwed" remix EP, live tracks, bonus DVD footage and more. "See You on the Other Side" was originally issued last December and has sold over one million copies since its release.

KORN currently tours with four additional musicians onstage, including an extra guitarist, a keyboard player, and a background singer.

he said that, but it's The Matrix producing....sooo...same piece of shit all over again. Sorry man, their last albums have REALLY sucked, and the last one, don't even get me on that...ufff I still smell the stink of shit all over that one. The Matrix are not the producers, they are the new Korn. Simple as that. Korn now just plays what these bozos write.

well its funny ive seen korn about 13 times, and the last time i saw them was probably the best time ive seen them. The backround musicians actually make them alot better live. I actually like See You On The Other Side. Its different, nothing sounds like it. Which is what i like about korn the most. Every album sounds different from the last and they have the balls to do it. Most bands are scared to change it up a bit and write the same album over and over and barely get passed the 3rd album without breaking up. Korn on the other hand is on 7 and still blowing up. Ill admit nothing can touch their 1st album, but u gotta hand it to them, theyre still one of the most origional bands out there. They came out when the music scene was all about grunge. The only band that was still huge at the time from metal was pantera (thats a fuckin given tho!). I dunno, say what you want about korn, the fact is theyre not going anywhere any time soon. A band who could sell out ampithears after 7 albums is pretty successful if u ask me.
