KISS To Tour With QUEEN In 2007?

According to KissKollector.com, KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons told the "Dudley & Bob" morning show on Austin's classic rock station KLBJ that KISS will take out QUEEN + PAUL RODGERS on the band's 2007 tour. Gene said that both bands had talked during the "VH1: Rock Honors" show and agreed to hit the road together. In typical Gene fashion, he went on to claim in the interview that "QUEEN is playing with us, we're not playing with QUEEN."

As Queen don't exist any more, there can be no more Queen tour. As simple as that.
There are only 50% of Queen and replacement musicians touring with Kiss.

I love the 70's stuff from both bands...and this will be an awesome show.....Tix will be damn expensive...but what a friggin show it will be!!!! I seen the Queen and Paul Rodgers tour when it came through Chicago....Paul is a GREAT singer...but it didn't quite sound right. I actually just went to see Brian May one last time..I never thought I would see him again...last time I seen him was on the "Hot Space" tour...and that album was HORRID.

i think your the one that needs to check the facts before shooting off your idiotic statements. check the stats, queen did not sell well last year . queen was freddie mercury and the band. 21st century doors did not sell well . doors are morrison and the band. journey does not sell well, journey is steve perry and the band. priest did not sell well without halford. kiss did not sell well without ace and peter . in fact it was one of the top 10 lowest grossing tours of 03.. i could go on and on. should the stones continue if something happens to jagger ? its not about being negative its about commenting on all things rock, and thats what we're all here for.

there was a queen + paul rodgers concert on vh1 the other day, and it was followed by...a kiss concert! interesting.
btw, paul rodgers sucks beyond belief, he looks like a washed up classic rock wannabe icon on steroids, not to mention that the guy has small fuckin evil eyes and sings from his ass. that's what is sounded like. he doesn't have to sing like freddie, nobody alive today can do that, but he sucked way too much. also, there were 3 (!) drummers, roger taylor + 2 more, and one of them was the dude from foo fighters.

Today's queen does not belong on the same stage as KISS ... These guys are completly washed up. However, KISS -- especially paul and Eric -- are better than ever. Even Def Lepard, whom KISS crushed at the Rock Honors, would be better ... Alice Cooper would have been a good open - and Eric could do a double shift.

That was the average attendance for their Australian theatre shows on the RTN tour...cause that's what the venue held. (Duh)
Yes...there were some American dates that only drew 4,500 - 6,000.
However...there were also dates that pulled in 12,000-14,000.
That old USA Today article mentioned KISS as among the artists that didnt sell as well as expected...not as among the Bottom 10 tours of the year.
Seriously...how much does KISS own your ass if you are COMPELLED to post in EVERY thread regarding them.
You fucks make me laugh...

All the comments about Kiss not having talent, being a bunch of dollar hunters, their music sucks, Queen is better than and vice versa. . . .these people don't really have a clue of what they are saying. Both bands have contributed to the world of music we live in now and have inspired millions of musicians around the world. Maybe the music is not to your liking but hey, these bands have released more albums than your average and non inspiring bands that are around today will ever release. Thes guys have toured all over the world plenty of times and have sold out most of their concerts. Kiss is an institute and so is Queen. We all miss Freddie and we all miss Ace and Peter. Why the fuck are people here talking about Kiss and Queen being shit without them knowing the bands at all? The comments on Queen writing Bohemian Rhapsody and Kiss writing I was made for loving you are just one highlight and one low point of the bands. Both have written songs that will be with us until time isn't ticking anymore. I am a great Kiss fan, know probably every song but have always been blown away by Queen too, but have only one album. With great songs and songs that will suck forever. And so did Kiss. Absolute mind blowing stuff and stuff that makes you go 'why on earth did you write this crap??' But will they play their crap stuff when playing live? Fucking think not. So let us just hope that these guys will come out and play for us one more time and give it all theyve got!! Cause this might be the very last time you will be able to see our Rock legends! Come on and chill and just pray to....eh...whatever. . . .that is will be soon!!!!
