DELIVERANCE Reunites For Surprise Appearance At UP FROM THE ASHES 2 Festival - Sep. 4, 2006
Christian thrash metallers DELIVERANCE reunited for a one-off gig at the Up From The Ashes 2 Christian metal festival, which took place this past Saturday (September 2) at the Chapel of the Hills Sanctuary in Sunland, California. As a surprise, Jim Chaffin — the former CRUCIFIED/DELIVERANCE and current ONCE DEAD drummer — joined the band to perform the classic DELIVERANCE track "No Time".

Waaay back in the day 1989 or so. Maybe 1990. I haven't heard their name in years nor have I met anyone who knows them. Deliverance rocks, man. What a joke! Chunk-chunk, chunk-chunk, chunk-chunk.

Their earlier stuff was amazing...After the grunge era their music declined as they tried to blend in with current trends.

'Weapons of our warfare' is one of the best speed metal albums out there.

In related news, Roger Martinez showed up to beg the band for money that he claims they owe him from years ago.
