How come USA, the biggest market in the world is always last for metal releases? This record sucks. History will prove me right. You morons who claim to like it now will not be listening to it six weeks from now. I bought the damn thing and desperately wish I had downloaded for free. Down The Irons! Better luck next time, Iron Maiden. This record is a big miss.

It's actually pretty fucking good! Better than their last two for sure. Wicker man and G. of a Navigator was cool...but this album is better all way around. Still, I hope Bruce continues with his solo stuff. He's what makes the new album.

UP THE FUCKIN' IRONS!

Unfortunately as far as media is concerned the UK is too much like the US - dictated by fat-ass record company fuckers looking to make money out of mass-producable shit.

Some decent bass lines and some good guitar work, but the drumming is absolutely terrible and Bruce sounds as shitty as ever.

The only thing good about this album is the artwork!

What a pity.

What? The worst thing about this album is the artwork! They took on an Iced Earth comic book approach. Derrick Riggs was much better than Tim Bradstreet (though Tim has done some cool comics) The music is very good, and Bruce rules...as always! Fucker.

"a matter of life and death" is o.k, still disapointing compare to B.N.W and D.O.D, not of the "epic" songs are as good as "paschendale" or "dance of death". Brighter... and "the legacy" still really good. But too many average songs "the longest day" boring ," Different world".

Please ignore my compatriot (KULL=KUNT), he suffers from an identity crisis stemming from his mothers inability to recount to him the nationality of his father.

Hence his misplaced patriotism.

Noticed that Slayer went to No.9 in australia a couple of weeks ago too.
Sounds like an old skool resurgence down there.

The whole verse from your chosen song -

Our Armies In England, Ireland, Scotland And Wales
Our Brothers In Belgium, Holland And France
Will Not Fail
Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Italy
Switzerland, Austria
Back To The Glory Of Germany

See, England, Ireland etc. get 'army' status. Belgium, Holland etc. get 'brother' status, Germany wins with 'glory' status but what do the others get? They're just the names of countries listed in no particular order. Manowar do not express any particular affiliation with them, they're just there to pad the verse out.

How I feel sorry for you in your non-Manowar-approved country.

Not only Manowar are all of italian descent but they recorded the "NESSUN DORMA" (off LA TURANDOT by Giacomo Puccini, italian classical composer, a true GENIUS) on the "Warriors of the World" as a special "thank you" to italian fans for being so supportive and the best ones ever with the Germans and the French ones!
They recorded a french version of "Courage" to honour the french fans and a german version of "Heart of Steel" (Herz aus Stahl) for the german fans too but they nevered covered OPERA MUSIC for them! Eric Adams said it was the hardest piece he ever tried to sing but had to do it for the italian fans.

Quite frankly I don't give shit about all that, but the truth needed to be pointed out.

UP THE IRONS!!!!

Btw- these chart positions just show that Maiden are more powerful than ever, despite music downloading. ITs probably gained them more fans.

Buy the new album people, its great!

Europe ... Maiden?

At least the Dixie Chicks don't need three lead guitarists to complete a solo. And where are the walking cartoon props, fake beheadings, dry ice, smoke and firecrackers?
