IRON MAIDEN: 'A Matter Of Life And Death' Enters Norwegian Chart At No. 2

IRON MAIDEN's new album, "A Matter of Life and Death", has entered the Norwegian national album chart at position No. 2. The updated first-week chart positions are now as follows: Finland: #1 Italy: #1 Germany: #1 Norway: #2 U.K.: #4 Ireland: #5 Poland: #6 Netherlands: #7 Australia: #12 "A Matter of Life and Death" was recorded at Sarm West Studios in London with producer Kevin Shirley, who also worked on the last two MAIDEN albums, 2000's "Brave New World" and 2003's "Dance of Death". The CD is released in the U.S. today (Tuesday, September 5) via Sanctuary. (Thanks: MaidenNorway.com)

that despite entering the U.K charts 2 positions lower compared to DoD(n.4 to n.2),AMOLAD has sold more than DoD did on its 1st week.
Anyway great album...

I cant believe that maiden after reuniting with dickinson and adrian have delivered 5 terrible albums (if u include the live one)
I know it is not 1986, but come on guys and please dickinson stop talking shit about metal fans in the US. I have a deal for you about this:
if u release a good or great album, I promise to fill the venues when u come to the US.

the reunion albums are great(with AMOLAD being a masterpiece) esp.f you don't consider "Powerslave" the last good Maiden album(as the majority of U.S fans does).
Anyway i have a question for you??How will you fill the U.S arenas,do you have a few thousand relatives or something??

Yeah, maybe!
Most of reviews (if not all) i've read like Metal Storm, Metal Hammer and many great others gave this album very very good ratings but it seems sharon sduced blabbermouth!

Enough proof that Norweigans will follow any trends whether the product is decent or not. You don't have to be from a certain country or race to know that the new Iron Maiden album sucks ass, and anyone making such an argument is a moron and shouldn't be allowed to interact with society.

Why are Americans bashed by Europeans on nearly every thread. Maybe it would have been better if the Americans didn't support Britain in WWII when Winston asked repeatedly - and let the Germans rule. If the Americans are despised so much in Europe, maybe all those soldiers' lives were lost in vain. That's OK Europe, you'll soon be overrun by Muslims (just like America is being overrun by Mexicans).
