AEROSMITH and MÖTLEY CRÜE have known each other for many years, having recorded in adjoining studios in Vancouver. AEROSMITH lead guitarist Joe Perry recently told Launch Radio Networks that his CRÜE memories go back even farther, to the time when they first proved themselves to everyone. "To me, MÖTLEY CRÜE is still a baby band, you know?" he said. "I remember seeing them play... I think it might have been one of their first big arena shows, at the Santa Monica Civic Center (in California), when their first record came out. And of that generation of bands, they were the best ones, you know what I mean?"

GREAT SETLISTS, but somewhat disturbing in a lack of material (on Aerosmith's part) from the last 12 years. The Crue had their one token new song at least.

I have a great tape(yup it's still on tape!!) of Motley Crue playing the Concord Pavilion back in '82(?) when they were young and hungry and it sounds fantastic.

I bought their latest live CD, and it's a crock.Give up!

It sure looks like a co-headlining tour, when Aerosmith is playing 4 songs more than Crue. That actually really suprises me, and I'm willing to bet that later in the tour, it will be 15-15, and aerosmith may even drop down to 14 like they did on the kiss tour.

Aerosmith wrote more mature songs when they were 18 than when they were 40. Crue never had the talent to do so.

I would be pissed if I was a big Aerosmith fan and paid to hear these tired, played-out songs tour after tour.

no new music just the same old crap for what $75-$100 per ticket. I see some things never change. Fat Vince sounded terrible and sings about 50% of the lyrics. At least he didn't fall off the stage.

Both of those setlists kick ass! Fuck the haters, man! They don't know anything! Both bands put on a hell of a show. I wonder if Aerosmith dedicated Dude Looks Like a Lady to the crue?
