GUNS N' ROSES: More U.S., Canadian Tour Dates Announced

GUNS N' ROSES has added several U.S. and Canadian dates to its itinerary, including a stop at Madison Square Garden in New York City on November 10. The group's schedule is now shaping up as follows: Oct. 05 - San Diego, CA @ iPayOne Center Oct. 20 - Jacksonville, FL @ Veterans Memorial Arena Oct. 24 - Sunrise, FL @ Bank Atlantic Center Oct. 25 - Tampa, FL @ St. Pete Times Forum Oct. 27 - Estero, FL @ Germain Arena Nov. 02 - Greensboro, NC @ Greensboro Coliseum Nov. 03 - Huntington, WV @ Big Sandy Superstore Arena Nov. 05 - East Rutherford, NJ @ Continental Airlines Arena Nov. 08 - Worcester, MA @ DCU Center Nov. 10 - New York City, NY @ Madison Square Garden Nov. 13 - Baltimore, MD @ 1st Mariner Arena Nov. 15 - Toronto, ON @ Air Canada Centre Nov. 17 - Ottawa, ON @ Scotiaband Place Nov. 20 - Halifax, NS @ Halifax Metro Center Nov. 24 - Cleveland, OH @ Quicken Loans Arena Dec. 04 - Winnipeg, MB @ Mts Center Dec. 06 - Calgary, AB @ Pengrowth Saddledome Dec. 07 - Edmonton, AB @ Rexall Place Dec. 10 - Everett, WA @ Everett Events Center Dec. 11 - Portland, OR @ Rose Garden Arena Dec. 13 - Fresno, CA @ Save Mart Center Jan. 10 - Sacramento, CA @ ARCO Arena Jan. 11 - Bakersfield, CA @ Rabobank Arena Jan. 13 - Reno, NV @ Reno Events Center GUNS N' ROSES last week postponed the U.S. dates that were to take place between September 27 and October 5. The dates have been moved to fit into the main body of the tour, which starts on October 20 in Jacksonville, FL at the Veterans Memorial Arena. GUNS N' ROSES frontman Axl Rose has been saying that the band's long-delayed new album, "Chinese Democracy", will be out later this year. GUNS N' ROSES' "Greatest Hits" collection, which was originally issued in March of 2004, was certified triple-platinum on April 11, 2006 by the RIAA ( Recording Industry Association of America) for shipments in excess of three million copies. The CD sold 11,000 copies in the United States last week alone (week ending September 17), bringing the total number of copies sold since its release to 3.17 million, according to Nielsen SoundScan. I'm quite pleased with the Canadian dates and I like to keep a reasonable amount of faith that the shows will actually take place without any trouble. I'll be at the Ottawa show for sure, since I love the new guns just as much as the old ones.
Where's the Montreal date though?!
No one ever skips MTL...they can't still be holding the grudge over that riot after the pyro accident Metallica gig in 92'...Can they?

No album means that all the touring in the world wont convince people to give Axl a real chance to be taken seriously.

The band performed at KROQ's Inland Invasion on saturday . And he's going to book some dates in L.A . So you'll have your chance to attend a show and talk shit only to have him throw your ass out . You act as if L.A knows this secret that nobody else does lol . Everybody knows Axl hasn't releaseed shit in 15 yrs. Everybody knows Slash is now in Velvet Revolver and that Axl hred new musicians. You know what. In all honesty, if he DID come to vancouver with his travelling side-show, I WOULD probably go. But only because I have a buddy who works at a local radio station here and he hooks me up with Free tickets.
Also, if I actualy sat through one of his shows, it would probably give me even more ammunition to slam the guy with.
