The tourist cant hang at CB's all they do is stop by and try to get a picture outside.. The club is same as it was back in the 80s except there is a new generation of people. If you go there when they have audition night , you'll see tourist and who ever. If you go on a good punk or hardcore night all that happens in the tourist might spend the money to come in but once in they turn around and leave. If they stay then that means they must like the music but might not look the part and whats wrong with that. Do you have to look like a punk to go to a show.. Hell do you have to look like a punk to play good punk or hardcore music...No...
All I'm saying is that CBGBS will be missed. That club has a history that will carry on forever....
The lower east side will never be the same when doors close for the last time.
