MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx recently told John Benson of Billboard.com that he's in no rush to begin work on the band's next sudio album, despite previous reports to the contrary.
"There's a lot of [new] music but I don't feel any urgency," he said. "I guess in a perfect world, the ['The Dirt'] movie and the album and the tour would all kind of come at the same time. But in the MÖTLEY world, I doubt it."
The CRÜE's journey is about to be transformed onto the silver screen with an MTV Films/Paramount project that is slated to move into production this fall. The biopic, which has yet to be cast, is based on the band's autobiography "The Dirt" and is due out next year. Sixx says the band will be "completely involved" in the production.

I seen them last month. They both put on a killer show. If they came by me again I would go once again.

But I'll be skipping the show @ Target Center on December 7th. I saw Motley Crue this past July, and Vince Neil put on the absolute worst live performance I have ever seen. I will never again spend a cent that might find its way into the hands of that guy. He embarassed the rest of his band, and insulted the audience with that poor excuse for a performance...Thanks to Vince, Motley Crue is a fucking joke live.
Me too man. Too bad for the guy above me. That must've sucked. When the Crue came to Halifax Vince was spot on. It was a great show and before the show I was worried his voice might blow but thankfully he had a good night.

motley is my favorite band of all time, but what i really can't understand is how vince neil just doesn't seem to care anymore. someone needs to say, "dude, you're in one of the most popular bands in history! stop drinking so much, do some sit ups, and let's be on with the show." when vince is on he is killer, but when he's sloppy he's the worst; it's sad because he really is talented when he wants to be. i had so much hope after vince's "remake," he really seemed like he was changing; he even looked great. but he's back to his old self again- overweight and off key.
i hope motley make it through and make another record and tour more, because i love that band. but i wouldn't be suprised if tommy left again due to vince. hopefully supernova will keep tommy willing to stay in motley.
going to see them with aerosmith next month. crossing my fingers that vince is on that night. for someone going on before the great steven tyler, vince hasn't been focusing all that hard, or so i've heard from reviews.
