CHRISTOPHER WALKEN To Play OZZY OSBOURNE In 'The Dirt' Movie

ABC News reports that Christopher Walken has agreed to play Ozzy Osbourne in "The Dirt", a movie based on MÖTLEY CRÜE's controversial 2001 autobiography. CRÜE lead singer Vince Neil told ABC News Radio in an exclusive interview that the 63-year-old Oscar-winning actor will make a cameo appearance as Osbourne in the film, which is now in preproduction and is expected to be released in 2008 by Paramount and MTV. It's been billed as a true-life version of "This Is Spinal Tap". "How funny is that going to be," Neil told ABC's Al Mancini at the opening of Vince Neil Ink, the singer's new tattoo parlor in Las Vegas. Neil said that other stars are going to appear in the film as rock stars, including Val Kilmer as David Lee Roth. "We're doing big, giant cameos with those people," he said. As for Neil and his CRÜE, they'll be played by unknowns. "The Dirt: Confessions of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band" set new limits in tell-all confessionals. The 448-page tome catalogues the drug and alcohol abuse, nasty infighting, and sex parties of Neil and band mates Tommy Lee, Mick Mars and Nikki Sixx.

Just Becouse of you they are no longer makeing a movie about Ozzy They are now doing it on MÖTLEY CRÜE ,but they are still going to use the name "The Dirt" and Now Christopher Walken's will just make a cameo appearance as Ozzy in the film.

Gimme a break.. Their only album worth listening to is Shout at the Devil. And thats not even anyting special. Overated, overated, and VERY overated band. The only positive thing about those guys is that Vince Neil had a decent voice back in the day. Saw Vince with his solo band open for VH back in 1993. Steve Stevens is a FAR superior guitarist than Mick Mars will ever be.

I'm reading The Dirt, almost finished...it will be a great movie. I can't believe how much drugs they did.
I have a new respect for the Crue after reading the Dirt. I'm sure it will be a great movie.
By the way, Walken f'n rocks.

why are people here always trying to find something bad about anyone? who the fuck cares what the public things about Ozzy???? they didnt know of him before and now they laugh at him, but still he's done more and have more money and probably more honest then most people are so leave the man alone and thank him for what he's done.
everybody gets old not just him!
and also Val Kilmer, better actor than most of them, but just couldnt work with anyone or was difficult or whatever. and since when is that a bad thing about a musician or rock star?
and maybe the movie will suck and maybe not! hope it will be good!!!thanx
