KORN Frontman Talks About COREY TAYLOR Collaboration - Dec. 19, 2006
A 10-minute audio rip of HardDrive Radio's exclusive Family Values Tour 2006 CD spotlight show has been made available for download at this location.

Provided by Polish fan site KoRn Zone, the show features an interview with KORN frontman Jonathan Davis regarding The Family Values Tour where he reveals plans for the tour to come to Europe. The radio rip also features full-length versions of "Freak on a Leash" (featuring a guest appearance by STONE SOUR/SLIPKNOT's Corey Taylor) and "Coming Undone" from the upcoming "Family Values Tour 2006" CD, which will be released on December 26.

On the collaboration with Corey Taylor, Davis said, "He did it once before [at the Download festival in the U.K.] and we thought it would be cool if he came out and sing with me. It was cool because there was a lot of rumors going on that we had beef with SLIPKNOT and David [Silveria, KORN drummer] and all that stuff. It was cool him just coming out on stage and knocking all those rumors out. In San Bernardino we had Paul [Gray] come out, the [SLIPKNOT] bass player, and it was awesome. I love that band [SLIPKNOT] and one day I want to tour with them."

Actually I do remember being at an early Slipknow show, circa 1999-2000, and Corey holding up a magazine photspread of the Korn drummer and then he set the magizine on fire. Pretty Cool.

David left, and a korn/slipknot tour just wouldn't be right... I love them both, but not on the same bill... its like having Godsmack open up for Slayer

If it was a co headlining tour then great. But there would be issues over who would headline it otherwise with all of Slipknot's recent success, but I'm sure the nod would still go to KoRn.
