WHITE ZOMBIE Box Set In The Works - Jan. 3, 2007
Rob Zombie is putting together a WHITE ZOMBIE box set containing "everything we ever recorded," according to the singer. "I am currently transferring all the early shit from the original tapes," he said. "No remixing going on here — everything will be as it was originally recorded. Don't know when this box set will be available, but it is slowly moving forward. This will be the final word on WHITE ZOMBIE."

Zombie recently mixed a new ROB ZOMBIE live album with producer Scott Humphrey for a tentative early 2007 release.

Rob Zombie's remake of the classic horror film "Halloween" is scheduled to hit theatres in August 2007. Shooting is scheduled to begin this month.

Zombie's previous credits as a screenwriter and director are 2003's "House of 1000 Corpses" and 2005's "The Devil's Rejects".

ROB ZOMBIE's first-ever career retrospective, "Past, Present & Future", has sold 1.28 million copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan. The two-disc set, which was released in September 2003 through Geffen Records, contains a CD of 19 digitally remastered selections and a DVD of 10 music videos, including three that were previously unreleased.

It'll be nice to finally get the stuff from the "Gods on Voodoo Moon" EP without paying hundreds of $$$ for it.

On the other hand, the stuff on "Make Them Die Slowly" could really use a remix, unless it sounds like crap on the LP due to poor mastering rather than Bill Laswell f'ing it up.

Looking forward to it, but remastering is far from a bad thing, Rob.

Sounds cool...but yeah Rob, remastering is nothing to be scared of. Just so long as you don't change the original recordings, just make them sound better. *COuGHOZZYCOUGH*

Some shit-head stole my copy of Make Them Die Slowly, so it'll be nice to get to hear it again. The production is fairly shite though...

The guy keeps fukkin projects going (like 5) at all times.

When a tour is done he heads back into making a movie.
That is the life^

A Fukkin trip!

His musical work ethic (even though im sure some is a cash cow) but
we all love money and would/could never live without it.

*Rob seems to do this for the art side of it.

The quality of the mp3s I have are terrible. Remastering sounds like a good idea. I'm sure we can wait a bit. It would be worht it.
