STONE SOUR, LACUNA COIL, SHADOWS FALL To Team Up For JÄGERMEISTER MUSIC TOUR
- Jan. 10, 2007
STONE SOUR, LACUNA COIL and SHADOWS FALL will team up for the latest installment of the Jägermeister Music Tour, set to kick off March 23 in St. Paul, Minnesota.
"This has been something we have been looking forward to for a very long time," says STONE SOUR vocalist Corey Taylor. "Having done this tour before, I can honestly say it's like nothing I've ever experienced. It's our time, and we're coming for you."
"It's about time!" says LACUNA COIL's Cristina Scabbia about being part of the Jäger Tour. "It'll be a blast, and you guys CAN'T miss it cause it's gonna be the tour of the year! See you all there… spread the word...and horns up, my friends!"
Brian Fair of SHADOWS FALL says, "After spending most of the past year trapped in the practice space and the studio, everyone in SHADOWS FALL is extremely excited to finally be getting back on the road! We plan on releasing a year of pent up energy on stage and unleashing a few new songs from our upcoming album, 'Threads of Life'. We are really looking forward to teaming up with our good friends in STONE SOUR and LACUNA COIL for an amazing tour. Time to put the Jägermeister on ice and line up the shots because its time to party with SHADOWS FALL!"
Rick Zeiler, Director of Marketing and Brand Development for Jägermeister, comments, "We as a company have a lot of respect for hard rock and metal music and also a lot of respect for STONE SOUR and what they have accomplished. We have worked with both LACUNA COIL and SHADOWS FALL for many years through our band sponsorship program, and both of these bands know how to represent Jägermeister. It's nice to have family as part of one of our music tours! With this lineup and Jägermeister's signature support, this tour will be one of the biggest of the season!"
The tour will rock through May and each show will be rounded out with a local Jägermeister band.
Going on six years, the Jägermeister Music Tour is bigger and bolder than ever, becoming THE hard rock show to see. Produced by Live Nation, past tours have brought DISTURBED, SLAYER, SLIPKNOT, STAIND and HATEBREED, to the masses, and now the tour continues its hard rock charge.
For about 30 bucks, fans will get the chance to see some of the biggest acts in rock and receive some of the sweetest swag around, including great Jägermeister prizes and giveaways like the Jägermeister compilation CDs with live and unreleased tracks from Jägermeister bands as well as plenty of Jägermeister shirts, hats, and more. Other prizes and giveaways from sponsors include custom tour prizes from Schecter Guitars, Peavey Electronics, and Coffin Case.

with the road that Shadows Fall have been on...I knew they'd start doing horrible tours with bands like Stone Sour.
idiots.
Of One Blood was awesome...sorry about the records after it.

To me it is the fact that Stone Sour has become everything that Corey sang against with Slipknot. Conformity, fame and all that shit is what he told millions of kids around the world not to buy into. Now, Stone Sour is a cookie cutter image of a typical, mainstream rock band. I have no problem with someone having a different style and trying to make a living, but Corey, to me, comes off as a hypocrite.
This is the ugh tour. I find Lacuna Coil to be so boring.

Stone Sour?Lacuna Coil?
Stone Sour is about as vain as Three Doors Down trying to make heavy music.
Lacuna Coil sounds like Korn on their latest album,I got so bored I couldn't go through the whole record. Most of those who care about this band care only for Cristina. She thinks she's so metal but all the guys on the scene probably think her looks are more impressive than her so-called talent.
Shadows Fall,on the other hand,is the shit. They've put out plenty of memorable records and those guys just have it in them. They're authentical metalheads in every aspect and they shred live.
Why not get rid of the two other bands?Just so all the wannabes in the audience go back to their mother's basement?

....Does anyone on here have any fucking gratitude, at all?!
You may not like the bands, but at least you get the option and should appreciate that, fuck, you need to be thankful for it.
STONE SOUR's new album is good and are you really a hypocrite when you can honestly change your mind or perspective? I find the material to be honest. IMO
LACUNA COIL are an aquired taste, they are not metal or ever claim to be.
SHADOWS FALL have a cast of excellent and talented musicians and as the others above, deserve to reap the rewards for their labors.
