L.A. GUNS, WARRANT, FIREHOUSE To Join Forces For '80S INVASION TOUR - Jan. 26, 2007
L.A. GUNS will team up with WARRANT and FIREHOUSE for the '80s Invasion Tour. A poster for the trek can be found at this location. Exact cities and dates will be announced soon.

L.A. GUNS is continuing to tour in support of its latest album, "Tales from the Strip", which was released in August 2005 in the U.S. via Shrapnel Records. The CD, which was produced by Andy Johns (LED ZEPPELIN, THE ROLLING STONES), is said to be lyrically inspired by a historically significant rock scene that L.A. GUNS had a strong hand in creating.

ok warrant was a joke back then and they dont even have jani lane !! firehouse was even worse!!! but la guns is good ( the version with phil lewis singing ) i cant beleive they are opening. what a insult !! but sales/tour wise, they need the support of other bands. just should be playing last.
i live in minneapolis and i kid you not, warrant and firehouse play here or about 20 min away across the boarder in WI at a dump called dibbos about every 4 months or so !!! i dont know if they live around here but nobdy shows up except the regular patrons

COMMENT | Laughably shit.

We often get package tours here in scotland of old 50's and 60's rock n roll bands, usually ones with one original member (the drummer) left and a bunch of guys who werent even born when the band was big. They play small venues, and the posters for them look EXACTLY like this one.
Some better graphic design is needed there boys, as that poster makes you look as exciting and dangerous as a Michael Sweet solo album.

should be headlining this. They have the strongest set of the three. I'm curious to see Warrant with Jaime st. James singing, havn't seen that yet. Liked him in Black n Blue. And Firehouse is always suprisingly good when i see them.

L A G RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've seen 2 of the 3 bands (not Warrant) in the last couple of years and it's a fun set both do. I'll go to this and have a blast.

It's a different atmophere than all the shows people call metal now that I attend. Everybody isn't all pissed off and dressed in black and angry at the world. Seems to me to be a crowd where everybody remembers when rock was fun and "metal" was really candy pop. Good times. Songs about party'n and chicks and cherry pie... ahhhhh cheesy goodness.

And are the only band worth seeing there. I don't really call them 'Glam' they were a bit late for that, If you look at it as goodtime rock'n'roll than whats the problem! I like wailin' vocals, screaming wild guitar, deep bass and heavy drums...don't you? Emo?

O.K they are all probably past their best commercially, but why give up and get a "real" job, these guys have all experienced what its like to rock out for a living, something we'd all love to do, so why blame them for wanting to continue, L.A Guns ROCK!
