SOIL, SEEMLESS, LIGION To Team Up For 'True Rock Tour' - Mar. 5, 2007
SOIL, SEEMLESS and LIGION will team up for "True Rock Tour" in May. Exact cities and dates will be announced soon. A MySpace for the trek has been launched at this location.

SOIL's latest CD, "True Self", was released in May 2006 via DRT Entertainment. The follow-up to 2004's "Redefine" was recorded and mixed at Bomb Shelter studios in Los Angeles, California with producer Ulrich Wild (STATIC-X, TAPROOT). The CD is the group's first to feature singer A.J. Cavalier, who previously fronted the California-based DIESEL MACHINE (also featuring ex-DAMAGEPLAN frontman Patrick Lachman on guitar). The band's original vocalist, Ryan McCombs, has since joined the Texas act DROWNING POOL.

True Rock Tour? I think not! The true True Rock Tour would have a lineup consisting of Clutch, COC and possibly Cannibal Corpse. This lineup of Soil, Seemless and some band I've never heard of is just another attempt by Headbangers Ball to cash in on a dying trend. Shame on you, MTV2! SHAME...ON...YOU!!!

Soil lost all their identity when their original singer left, the new guy is the epitomy of generic. Throttle Junkies was a damn solid rock album.
