VADER entered Hertz Studio in Poland on March 15 to re-record 25 of the best songs from their entire discography for a 25th anniversary release, to be issued in 2008. The set will also include a DVD containing tons of bonus features, such as archival recordings, live shows, video clips and other special material.

Commented frontman Piotr "Peter" Wiwczarek: "We have just finished all drum tracks for the anniversary album... Daray drummed never so much hard in so short time before: 26 songs in almost a week!!! At the beginning we didn't plan to make 'a regular' studio session for this record...There was to be 15 hits taken from VADER's discography and we supposed to be done in three weeks (two weeks in March and one week in September). We decided but to record 25 (!!!) songs (for XXV jubilee) — and this is a big difference indeed...Like I mentioned before, we put an attention on VADER's first releases, so there are six songs from 'The Ultimate Incantation'; five from 'De Profundis'; four from 'Black To The Blind'; three from 'Litany' and one from 'Revelation' and 'The Beast'...The rest are mini-albums and...surprises.

"We 'upgraded' some of the songs and left the others in the original shape. This time Daray was playing on his brand new Premier drum kit — with whom he just signed an endorsement for the whole world. There is a time for guitars now... Mauser is working with his part since two days already and I start today as well...We're gonna work together. More details soon...."

VADER's "Impressions in Blood" album entered the Polish national chart at position No. 8. The band's video for the song "Helleluyah (God Is Dead)" has been posted online at YouTube.com. The clip was shot with director Andrzej Wyrozebski, who is said to be one of the leading movie producers in Poland. Janusz Król (known from the Polish fantasy movie "Wiedzmin") was responsible for all special effects and the whole set design. Slawomir Panasewicz (who has worked on over 140 video clips!) was a cameraman.

"Impressions in Blood" was recorded at Hertz Studio in Bialystok, Poland and features artwork by Greek artist Seth (ROTTING CHRIST, PARADISE LOST). A full-length MP3 of the song "Warlords" can be downloaded at this location.
