Doubtful it wil get any airplay on US radio or televsision. its the way it is now - older bands might have a good song but it isn't played or pushed. Especially if it doesn't sound like Nickelback or an emo band.

For example afetr Unbreakable, "Love Em Or Leave Em" won a radio station contest for a week where i live, where it is up against another song each night and people call in. After that run, I never heard the radio station play it again.

And the Scorps are more popular around the world than in the U.S.. I think you have it backwards. I always enjoy looking at their tour dates and the strange locations on it - Siberia, etc.

Actually they play concerts for oldies radiostations over here. They jumped on every trend like ACOUSTIC shows, SYMPHONY album etc. but as far as I know nothing really sold well. They became pretty much the joke in every rock/metal magatine. Also they appear on tv on all those "Wasn't Yesterday Great" shows where only washed up celebs attend, playing WIND OF CHANGE over and over again.

Come on King Whiskey, they are not at that low of a level. They do not and will never play the state fair circuit, like Poison, Warrant, Ratt, etc. Because of their wide base of fans world wide (moreso than in the U.S.) they are f'n loaded.

COMMENT | doesn't matter what they put out now

I bought unbreakable its a good cd but it doen't matter how great the material is bands that once sold millions and millions of albums won't get airplay anymore I will buy there new album but I am in the minority.

Plenty of good bands still sell out concerts but there albums don't sell anymore because many fans just want to hear the greatest hit. Its sucks because some of these put out some killer material that would have sold and would have gotten tons of airplay 15 or more years ago but radio has changed so much these bands don't have a chance.

If they are a nostalga act in Germany then, they did it to themselves.
I started to lose interest in them when Savage Amusment came out.
I would still check in on what they were doing but, they did kinda jump on that "formulated" writting band wagon for a while(kinda like-Aerosmith-they still are on it, ZZ Top -they stopped, just to name a couple).

I did find Unbreakable to be a breath of fresh air so lets hope this one is even better.

believe it or not, this year marks their 35th anniversay.

I still love them, will always go see them, will always
check in with their latest material.

can't say that about very many bands, especially going
back to 1972.
