MEGADETH: More U.K. Dates Announced - Apr. 4, 2007
MEGADETH has announced several U.K./Ireland dates surrounding the band's Download Festival appearance in early June. The group's European schedule is now shaping up as follows:

June 12 - Glasgow, Scotland @ Barrowland Ballroom
June 13 - Bristol, UK @ Academy
June 14 - Folkestone, UK @ Leas Cliff Hall
June 16 - London, UK @ Astoria
June 17 - Biddinghuizen, Holland @ Fields Of Rock Festival
June 19 - Hamburg, Germany @ Markthalle
June 20 - Karlsruhe, Germany @ Festhalle Durlach
June 22 - Zaragoza, Spain @ Monsters Of Rock
June 24 - Clisson, France @ Hellfest
June 26 - Rijssen, Holland @ Lucky & Co

Due on May 15 via Roadrunner Records, MEGADETH's new album, "United Abominations", was mixed at Backstage Studios in Derbyshire, England by Andy Sneap (MACHINE HEAD, SKINLAB, NEVERMORE). Check out the cover artwork at this location.

MEGADETH's new version of the song "A Tout Le Monde", now retitled "A Tout Le Monde (Set Me Free)", is available for streaming in its entirety at this location (Windows Media). The track "Sleepwalker" is available for streaming on the band's MySpace page. A professionally shot video clip of MEGADETH performing another new song, entitled "Washington is Next!", on October 14, 2006 at the Loud Park '06 festival in Tokyo, Japan has been posted online at YouTube.com. A rough-mix version of "Gears of War", is available for download at this location.

I am a big Deth fan, But all of the songs i've heard are not impressive. Sad...When he said between RIP-Youth I had HIGH expectations.

So that means Megadeth are playing on the friday at download and will be supporting my chemical romance.

What a fucking insult if I was them I would refuse to do it. It was bad enough two years ago when they were on the main stage before Garbage, Dinosaur Jr and feeder. Whoever came up with the schedule has no respect for metal thats quite clear

the system has failed was awesome, UNITED ABOMINATIONS seems promising...love some of the new stuff.....Good to see my favourite band doing their stuff.....long live DAVE!!!
