Blender.com reports: In our July issue (on stands June 19), Blender goes on a double-date with the hard rock's reigning king and queen, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, and hilarity ensues — as does dessert. We can't divulge too much about the epic meal/interview just yet, but here's a part of the encounter we won't wait to tell you about: Even while we were eating ice cream, beef was served. When Sharon was told about QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE front man Josh Homme's disdain for Ozzfest ("I won't be playing Ozzfest again — they treat the bands like shit," Homme told us recently. "This year you get to play for free under the guise of [imitating Ozzy] 'No, we're doing it for the fans!' But it's really for the people who fan Sharon and Ozzy with palm fronds at their house."), the potty-mouthed matriarch went Code Red. To print the whole five-minute, anti-Homme rant would be blasphemous and actually illegal in seven states, but here's the concluding snippet: "I hope he gets syphilis and dies. I hope his dick fuckin' falls off so his mother can eat it." At least she's allowing his penis to detach before Homme's mother ingests it. That's sweet.
