MARILYN MANSON: 'Eat Me, Drink Me' Artwork Revealed

The cover artwork for the new MARILYN MANSON album, "Eat Me, Drink Me", is available for viewing at this location. "Eat Me, Drink Me" is scheduled for release on June 5. The first single from the CD, "Heart-Shaped Glasses (When the Heart Guides The Hand)", is expected to arrive at radio stations this week and will be accompanied by a video shot in 3D. The clip is said to be an excerpt from a larger project that Manson is filming with "Titanic" director James Cameron, although that collaboration has yet to be officially confirmed. As previously reported, a brand new MARILYN MANSON song, entitled "If I Was Your Vampire", has been made available for streaming on the band's official MySpace page. This can't be the final cover. It's got blood and also blood and more blood, but mostly, it's not MM material for a cover. Nice photo but that's not enough, looks like a creative letdown.
Like the logo though, goes with the theme of this album, even if vampires are an overrated topic. To me, vampires are those suckers who won't stop sucking the life off everybody in real life.

This guy is one of the last remaining "rock stars" around. He consistently makes kick-ass music while pissing off half the planet. People bitch and complain everytime he's in the news for something, then quietly go out and buy his music. I wasn't crazy about his last cd, but I WILL be going to get this one.
