HELLYEAH Lands At No. 9 On BILLBOARD Chart - Apr. 18, 2007
HELLYEAH's self-titled debut album has sold just under 45,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at No. 9 on The Billboard 200 chart. Meanwhile, Long Island post-hardcore act FROM AUTUMN TO ASHES shifted almost 11,000 copies of "Holding a Wolf by the Ears" to land at No. 73.

A three-minute clip featuring behind-the-scenes footage from the making of HELLYEAH's "You Wouldn't Know" video has been posted at YouTube. The clip was shot on February 25, 2007 with director Nathan Cox in the parking lot of the Dallas, Texas stripclub owned by former PANTERA/DAMAGEPLAN and current HELLYEAH drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott. The finished "You Wouldn't Know" video is available for viewing at this location.

HELLYEAH is the new band featuring Vinnie Paul Abbott alongside members of MUDVAYNE and NOTHINGFACE. The group will hit the road beginning around May 20 with dates in the U.S. before heading over to Australia and making its way to England for an appearance at this year's Download festival.

HELLYEAH will take part in this summer's Family Values Tour. The official announcement was made March 26 via VirtualKorn.MTV.com. Also taking part in the tour are EVANESCENCE, ATREYU, TRIVIUM and FLYLEAF, alongside headliners KORN.

There is always complaints that people don't buy albums anymore. Maybe it is because people can't afford them? Or people smartened up and don't buy shitty music anymore? (Not that Hellyeah is shitty, I don't actually know.)

Who the hell buys this shit?

Don't get me wrong, i've heard a lot worse but there are less-generic bands out there who are actually talented and deserve to be selling a lot more records than these guys. What a joke.

I agree with you, for example back in 2002 Korn Untouchables sold 434,126 copies in the 1st week and debuted at #2 (same week of eminem "eminem show"), and the album is still considered korn's biggest failure. How about that, hein?

Hellyeah is about as generic as Trivium's atempt at "trash metal"...

congrats to Vinnie and the rest.

And as for Korn's Untouchables being a failure, that was because they spent a fortune on making it. When you use a stupid amount of money on an album, it has to sell :

And by the way, I am NOT a korn fan :)

If you're looking for the heavy album of the year check out Beneath the Massacre's The Mechanics of Dysfunction, or maybe at least check out Fiction from Dark Tranquility.

Please don't buy crappy music like Hells Ye-haw! Really there isn't anything on that album you just have to hear.

WOw, this album really blows chimp. Are these the same guys who brought us Far Beyond Driven and L.D. 50?

Maybe the government really is replacing talented, proficient people with aliens and androids.
