RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE Guitarist Calls Rally Performance 'Very Exciting' - Apr. 20, 2007
Launch Radio Networks reports: RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE guitarist Tom Morello and singer Zack De La Rocha performed in public together for the first time in nearly seven years in Chicago last Saturday (April 14) as part of a rally-turned-celebration for the Coalition of Immokalee Workers. Their performance offered a preview of the full band's upcoming Coachella Festival appearance on April 29. Morello told Launch that the experience was a memorable one: "We worked the entire set up 20 minutes before we went onstage, but it went pretty well. It was very exciting for everybody in the room, myself included. I mean, the place was just packed to the rafters and even the stage was packed with this ring of 25 photographers two feet away from us while we were playing, so it was kind of a trippy, you know, way to do our first show. But it was a great cause and we were happy to be a part of the Immokalee farmworkers victory."

Morello and de la Rocha played "People Of The Sun", "Bulls On Parade" and "Down Rodeo". Morello also performed several tunes as THE NIGHTWATCHMAN, while de la Rocha sang a song he wrote for the event.

The Coalition of Immokalee Workers is an organization of immigrant farm workers who pick vegetables for big businesses like McDonald's.

Morello releases "One Man Revolution", his debut solo album under THE NIGHTWATCHMAN name, on April 24.

RAGE has three more shows lined up this summer as part of the Rock The Bells hip-hop tour.

Zack wrote a new song, for the Immokalee workers

now they got what they wanted
now they got what they wanted

I apologize for my opinion, but, does Zach realize that verses now come with more than one line repeated over, and over, and over?

Lol, better than your shitty band "rockinmyblood"

Rage's debut album is a classic, more than most any of you can say about your bands' favorite albums.

yo g-money, people don't 'hate' on rage cause of their hip-hop association, they hate'em cause they're commie pieces of shit and the music sucks. and as far as the 'difference' they're trying to make in America, they already have a government that is set up to ratm's liking.........in cuba.

The only thing that "rules" around here is the ignorance!!! And the TRUTH is most people who have a little knowledge of history and politics see right through this band's hypocrisy. Wake up or grow up.....whatever applies.

tinfoil must be a trailerpark bitch sucking dicks for cheep lemonade beer if he is not online or gazing at Fox.

Anyway, without a shadow of a doubt he is an uneducated moron who does no know anything about the world and the words he's using in each of his nonsense posts.

And people who do not know better, as we all know, bark a lot of bullshit. Regardless if it is REAL marxist fairy tales or paranoid neocon fairy tales.

He does not know better, we, the thinking human beings, should all forgive him his stupidity.

No reason for concern.
Tinspookwho?
