RUSH: Seven Complete Tracks From "Snakes & Arrows' Available For Listening

According to RushIsAband.com, KKRW-93.7 FM out of Houston, TX has made seven songs from RUSH's upcoming album, "Snakes & Arrows", available for listening in their entirety on the station's web site. The songs available for preview are "Far Cry", "Armor And Sword", "Workin' Them Angels", "The Larger Bowl", "Spindrift", "Bravest Face" and "Malignant Narcissism". Click here to listen. Due on May 1 via Anthem/ Atlantic Records, "Snakes & Arrows" is RUSH's first album of original material in nearly five years. The CD was recorded in the fall of 2006 with Grammy Award winner Nick Raskulinecz ( FOO FIGHTERS, VELVET REVOLVER) and RUSH co-producing. The album's recently released first single, "Far Cry", was the #1 most added song at rock radio and already Top 10 on the rock radio charts with airplay on over 100 stations in the U.S. Since releasing its self-titled debut album in 1974, RUSH has been universally regarded as one of the most inventive and exciting groups in rock, famed for virtuoso musicianship, epic soundscapes, and dramatic lyricism. The band's extraordinary body of work — which includes such acclaimed works as 1976's "2112", 1981's "Moving Pictures", 1996's "Test for Echo", and 2002's "Vapor Trails" — has achieved worldwide sales exceeding 35 million units.

While I definatly like the harder edged stuff the best.
The band is so damn good that when I listen to the more polished stuff I still sit in awe!
& so far this album is sounding that Damn Good!

Malignant Narcissism - love that.
I can hardly contain myself - got to hear that song on my system!
And I don't want to spoil the trip by listening to all the songs up for listening - got to experience a Rush album as should be - in it's entirety, beginning to end.
This is going to be good!

ive heard this said a couple of time here that every thing after moving pictures was down hill i feel they have changed there sound through out the 30+ years that they have made music. i admit its not for everyone the only cd i dont like is vapor trails it just seemed all over the place to me could not get into it. not many bands can hope to have 30+ years in and still have such a loyal following.only been able to see them once at the r30 tour and they were amazing. to watch neil play drums it looks so effertless and sound so damn good but then that goes to both geedy and alex as well. just got done listening to the new tunes and they sound pretty good, there are even hints of rush of old in some songs.its good to hear alex up front again and almost no keyboards hope to see them again this summer

Alex has made it hard on himself to play these songs live again. A lot of songs have acoustic guitar then immediately changes to electric & back & forth, etc. I guess he doesn't like to be lazy. :)

Ha ha ha, thats funny, the album is already released and all over the place in evcery shop in Europe and there is a news here called "Seven Complete Tracks From "Snakes & Arrows' Available For Listening", maybe one day you US-people realise, the States are not the center of the Universe....

This album already kicks ass, and that's only off of 'Far Cry' and 'Malignant Narcissism'- can't listen to the rest until the album is properly released. Hard to believe guys this old can still bring the rock, but they do. See them in concert to get a real appreciation for them; seeing them 3x this summer.

in stead of slamming the usa like its our fault when the cd is released here just tell us how you like or for that matter dont like the cd and keep the bullshit to yourself
