OZZY OSBOURNE To Design Guitar For Charity

World Entertainment News Network reports that Ozzy Osbourne ia among 30 musicians who will design their own guitars to raise money for charity.
The stars will team up with different artists to have their designs hand painted onto the instruments, which will go on display in various locations around London throughout the summer.
They will then be auctioned off in support of the Gibson Guitartown campaign, with all proceeds raised going towards The Prince's Trust, Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy and Teenage Cancer Trust.
Other musicians getting involved in the charity work include Noel Gallagher, Rod Stewart, Paul Weller, James Morrison, THE KOOKS, RAZORLIGHT and DIRTY PRETTY THINGS.

Don't you have to be a guitarist to have a signature model? I mean I know you don't, like, have to PLAY guitar, to understand how to make one. But, OZZY??? C'Mon?

"artists to have their designs hand painted onto the instruments....." He is not designing a guitar, he is designing the artwork on the guitar. This if for charity, so that is a good thing. Most of the people on this site are so stupid that whenever they see the name Ozzy they post negative shit. How is doing something for charity negative? I'll admit, it will probably have something to do with that same tired cartoon Ozzy that has been floating around for the last 12 years or so, but at least he is making an effort to be charitable. People need to stop being asses on this site.

They're painting a design on it. I didn't know ozzy was a graphic artist! I bet the back of the Ozzy model has a very large mirror on the back!

Actually, Ozzy has been painting for years. When Ozzyhead was still around he had several different examples of his work online. Ozzy actually has a really good eye for art. However, none of it consisted of inverted crosses or pentagrams, so I don't know how many here would be interested anyways. On with the bashing...

... forget about the whole Ozzy thing, actually lets not. When was he last seen on stage playing a Les Paul or SG? Likewise "Rod The Mod" Stewart! I think it would have appealed more to the guitarist community if they were designed by guitarist and more so, by famous Gibson patrons.
