GUNS N' ROSES To Play LIVE EARTH Concert In Hamburg? - May 8, 2007
According to GnrDaily.com, GUNS N' ROSES are among the rumored artists that will perform at the Live Earth series of concerts which will be staged at various locations around the world on July 7. The event will be hosted by Al Gore. Hamburg Magazin and Radio Hamburg are reporting that GUNS N' ROSES will play at the German location of Live Earth, which will take place at the AOL Arena in Hamburg. Other artists that are scheduled to perform in Hamburg include SHAKIRA and PINK.

As previously reported, a studio mix of another new GUNS N' ROSES song, "There Was a Time", was leaked on Sunday, May 6, making it the fourth new GN'R track in two days to be released via the Internet ("The Blues", "Chinese Democracy" and "I.R.S." were leaked two days earlier). "There Was a Time" (also known as "T.W.A.T.") was played live only twice — at the first New York City warm-up show on May 12, 2006 and Madrid, Spain on May 25, 2006 — and was mentioned as one of GN'R singer Axl Rose's favorites in an interview he gave to Rolling Stone magazine in January 2006. All tracks are rumored to be set for inclusion on GUNS N' ROSES' upcoming album "Chinese Democracy". (NOTE: Please **DO NOT** post links to these audio files in the comments section or you will be permanently banned)

"Chinese Democracy" is the first GUNS N' ROSES album since the 1993 covers collection "The Spaghetti Incident". In the ensuing decade, the group has lost every original member besides singer Axl Rose and burned through a reported $13 million in recording expenses.

Longtime GUNS N' ROSES associate Del James revealed in a February 2007 online posting that "Chinese Democracy" was in the "mixing" stage.

GUNS N' ROSES has announced that the band's 2007 world tour will begin on June 2 in Monterrey, Mexico. Launch dates in South Africa and Japan were bumped due to a wrist injury sustained by bassist Tommy Stinson.

GUNS N' ROSES has been sued by a New Jersey-based production company for unpaid fees, according to TMZ.com. The gossip site acquired a copy of the recently filed lawsuit, in which Starlift Logistics alleges that it was hired to provide transportation and touring services for GN'R's 2006 U.S. tour. The firm claims that GUNS frontman W. Axl Rose and other associates owe Starlift more than $107,000 for services rendered.

The GUNS N' ROSES camp has not responded publicly to the lawsuit.

I heard the finished version of better and it's not that MUCH better, lol. Sure the sound quality is really goood but the song doesn't sound like GNR, it sounds like Axl appearing on someone else's album...that being said, I know there will be a couple of kick-ass songs on tha album. There's gotta be, it's Axl Rose for fuck sakes! Rock Legend!
What he needs to do though is get back with GNR, these new songs sound like a bunch of robots played them...

Fakegnr won't play in Germany because they already have shows scheduled in New Zealand and Japan.

The leaks sound terrible by the way. Just as www.rollingstone.com said it.

This "event" is only about raising the profile of an already very powerful "thinktank" called Save Ourselves, of which Al Gore is the puppet, a man whos home uses 20 times as much energy as the average American home, they want us in the west to "offset" our carbon use, ie by making sure "developing countries" do not develop, its another way for the rich to control the poor whilst playing the "saviours of planet earth" card, Gore is already involved in a business that sells "carbon offsets", which are like the emperors new clothes, they are simply a figment of an industrialists imagination.
The rich want to impose tyranny on the poor through fear tactics.

COMMENT | OK not in Germany?????
