VELVET REVOLVER: Entire 'Libertad' Album Available For Streaming

VELVET REVOLVER's entire new album, "Libertad", is available for streaming on the ClearChannelMusic.com web site. The behind-the-scenes, making-of-video for the new VELVET REVOLVER single "She Builds Quick Machines" has been posted online in the following formats: Windows, Real, Quicktime. Professionally filmed footage of VELVET REVOLVER's May 15, 2007 concert at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. has been posted at MSN Video. A 22-minute video interview with the band can be seen at this location. VELVET REVOLVER will be the featured musical guests on NBC-TV's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Thursday, June 28. Check your local listings for time and station. As previously reported, VELVET REVOLVER will also perform on ABC-TV's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on the Thursday, July 12 episode (which will actually air the morning of July 13 beginning at 12:05 a.m.). VELVET REVOLVER's new album, "Libertad", will be released on July 3. VELVET REVOLVER and ALICE IN CHAINS will team up for a North American tour beginning early August.

Im pretty dissappointed in the album as a whole. There are a few good tracks, but a lot of filler - like the first album.

Better album than the first.
Again just my opinion but I like Weiland better as a crooner, like on his solo record and the 2nd & 3rd STP albums. So because his voice seems to be somewhat restricted I find there are places the band can't go. Good musicianship though and they're fun live.

also, i bought their 1st disc & it's the only one i've got, out of hundreds, that won't play on my computer. some kind of security lock on it.

Good album. Some of the songs blend together, and it is a crime how short and few the Slash solos are.
But all in all, this is a rock n roll album, of the breed that we see far too little of nowadays. I'll buy it.
