AEROSMITH To Team Up With JOAN JETT For Fall U.S. Tour?

AEROSMITH is rumored to be teaming up with JOAN JETT for a U.S. tour in the fall. So far the following dates have been leaked:
Sep. 08 - Clarkston, MI @ DTE Energy Music Theatre
Sep. 10 - Rosemont, IL @ Allstate Arena
Sep. 12 - Wantagh, NY @ Jones Beach Ampitheatre
Sep. 14 - Mansfield, MA @ Tweetercenter
Sep. 16 - Bristow, VA @ Nissan Pavilion
Sep. 20 - Uncasville, CT @ Mohegan Sun
Sep. 22 - Atlantic City, NJ @ The Borgata
AEROSMITH returned to the U.K. for their first full live show in nine years this past weekend (June 24), headlining the second day of Hard Rock Cafe's Hyde Park Calling event in Hyde Park.
The encore saw the band joined onstage by DMC from 1980s rap trio RUN DMC, for the '80s rock-rap classic "Walk This Way".

From the Runaways to the early solo stuff (especially the "Bad Reputation" album) I've always respected Jett.
Nice support slot gig for her...

Joan Jett is touring with Alice Cooper and Motorhead in the UK. now THAT'S an awesome tour. Though Aerosmith would be good to see too.

Aerosmith would have to downsize the venues since a "co-headliner" band isn't available to boost ticket sales. Joan Jett plays bars so maybe some half-filled theatres are in order.

Do some homework before you speak. Joan sells out larger venues than the bars that your stuck in. Just saw her not to long ago at the Emerald Queen casino here in WA. For being around since jesus was a baby she still rock the house. Not sure what the seating cap was but there was a shit load of people there.

Sorry I didn't research the Emerald Casino or whatever. So you overpaid to see her play also. When was that last new album of hers that came out? I'm sure she still is good and all and probably kicks butt, but last time I saw her name in these parts she was playing a softball pavilion.

I like Aerosmith, but whats up with the ticket prices rising with every tour? 130 bucks a ticket before ticketmaster fee's.
When they toured with Kiss and Crue you expected high tickets...but Joan Jett!

....will be awesome! Seen Aerosmith several times and they always bring the thunder. Saw Joan Jett a few years ago and she schooled all the young bands on the Warped Tour. This is going to be a kick ass show! \m/

Also Dolores O'Riordan (ex- The Cranberries) is rumored to open for Aerosmith on that specific tour as well! I don't know if she was replaced by Jett or not, or maybe she'd be added to the bill later?

joan jett opening for aeromith,she must really be cash strapped to be opening shows for those has beens....cmon joan you cant need the cash that badly.....20-25years ago that would have been a great double bill....post 86 aerosmith sucks bad,dont do it joan
