Finnish doomsters SWALLOW THE SUN will embark on a tour of Spain and Portugal in October/November. Support at the shows will come from Spanish metallers HELEVORN. The dates are as follows:

Nov. 01 - Nautico - Valladolid, Spain
Nov. 02 - Sala Culto Bar - Lisbon, Portugal
Nov. 03 - Sala Capitol - Santiago de Compostela, Spain
Nov. 04 - Sala Paraninfo - Las Palmas de Gran Canarias, Spain

SWALLOW THE SUN's third album, "Hope" entered the Finnish national chart at position No. 3 back in February. The follow-up to 2005's "Ghosts of Loss" was recorded at Seawolf Studios in Helsinki and was mastered at Finnvox studios with Minerva Pappi. The LP features a vocal appearance by Jonas Renkse of KATATONIA on the song "The Justice of Suffering".

SWALLOW THE SUN's video for "Don't Fall Asleep (Horror Pt. 2)" can be found at YouTube.com. Produced by Medialouhos and directed by Antti Hyyrynen, the clip was shot in November 2006.

SWALLOW THE SUN has been confirmed for this year's installment of the Wacken Open Air festival, set to take place August 2-4 in Wacken, Germany.
