SAMMY HAGAR Announces U.S. Tour Dates - July 9, 2007
Launch Radio Networks reports: Die-hard "Van Hagar" fans can rejoice, as they're about to get a taste of both of their favorites: Sammy Hagar has just announced his U.S. tour dates, which will include opener — and ex-VAN HALEN bandmate — Michael Anthony's MAD ANTHONY EXPRESS.

Hagar's headlining show will consist of three hours of the Cabo Wabo Village vibe that was so successful on last summer's Livin'It Up! tour. MAD ANTHONY EXPRESS will perform both early VAN HALEN songs and various early rock classics; the support act, LOS TRES GUSANOS will play early Sammy Hagar songs; and, finally, Hagar and Anthony will perform as THE OTHER HALF — as in "the other half of VAN HALEN" — to perform Hagar-era VAN HALEN tunes.

If it's a Private Event then why post it and announce it? I would think if I had a private event I would just tell the ones invited and not announce it... weird!

I hear Jason Newsted will be touring this summer playing Metallica songs!!! Opening acts include: Larry mullins JR. (U2 drummer) band called Me2, Bill Wyman (ex-Rolling Stones bassist) band called Kidney Stones and last but not least Peter Criss(ex-KISS drummer) band called Peters KISS. Sounds as exciting as The MA Express doesn't IT!!!! I forgot MA is the GREATEST back-up vocalist ever, thats what sets him apart from these others!!!!!! SILLY RED HEADS DICKS ARE FOR CHICKS!!!

Now Eddie's trying to take the excitment out of the Hagar Tour or maybe they might meet up at a couple of venues and do a

I think Eddie and Alex planned with Sammy and Michael to get both tours to follow each for a Reunion!

I saw the Sam and Dave show this would make even more money and It would be great if it happened.

Though I think Roth may pull an ego thing like at the 2002 S&D show and piss off Eddie and Alex and blow the whole thing again!

What were you thinking EDDIE ????

You lost 11 more rocking years of Van Halen.

At least Sammy is still rocking at 60 !
