MASTODON: 'Sleeping Giant' Video Posted Online - July 20, 2007
MASTODON's video for the song "Sleeping Giant" has been posted at Headbanger's Blog. The clip will debut on MTV2's "Headbanger's Ball" on Saturday, July 21.

MASTODON opened for METALLICA on July 8, 2007 at the Wembley Stadium in London, England. Click here to see a photo of the two bands.

Revolution-Music.dk conducted an interview with MASTODON in early July prior to the band's appearance at the Roskilde Festival in Roskilde, Denmark. Download and listen to the audio file at this location.

Video footage of MASTODON performing "Sleeping Giant" on MTV's "24 Hours of Human Giant" has been posted at MTV.com. MASTODON played the track live on May 18 at MTV's Times Square studios in New York City. The performance, which kicked off a special 24-hour stunt on MTV hosted by the two comedians from their show "Human Giant", was reportedly shown live on large screens in Times Square.

The clip is to be watched ONLY IN THE USA because of copyrights...

MASTODON is an awesome band!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1

They incorporate hard stuff with some psychedelic riffs and solos, loved the last album. The "two" frontmen rules.

Are you fucking kidding me? They sound nothing alike. Mastodon is a better band than Tool anyway.

Ok heres the thing, I love this band I think this album is good and moody and all around awesome, however this has to be the worst video ever. The only thing you can say about it is that no one has made this video. But there is a reason for that.

I bought into the mastodon hype. Then I went out and actually bought their latest CD. But after several attempts, I have not been able to listen to it from beginning to end.

If you are ever having a hard time sleeping, listen to Blood Mountain, it will knock you the fuck out.
