Late BOSTON Frontman's Ex-Wife, Children Fighting To Hold Onto Singer's Estate - July 26, 2007
Carol Beggy and Mark Shanahan of The Boston Globe report: Life's not getting any easier for the family of Brad Delp, the former BOSTON frontman who committed suicide in March. Waiting for next month's star-studded concert celebrating Delp's life and legacy, the rocker's ex-wife and children are fighting to hold onto the singer's estate. Micki Delp, who was married to the "More Than a Feeling" singer from 1980 to 1996, says she was stunned to learn that her ex left his Atkinson, N.H., house to a long-ago girlfriend named Patricia Komor. Currently, the house is occupied by Pamela Sullivan, who was Delp's fiancee at the time of his death. She and Micki Delp are now joining forces to fight Komor's claim. "My understanding always has been that the kids would get everything," Micki told The Boston Globe yesterday. "And if and when Pam moved out, the house would be sold, and the proceeds split."

"If anybody saw Boston in Live in the 70's you know that they were awful live. While that album is a studio masterpiece, which took years to record, they sucked as a live band, and they were never considered cool they looked like DOOFS.
They were the begining of corporate rock"

They sure sounded good on the last couple of tours...albeit, with 3 or 4 guys playing guitars...etc.

Which is one of the many things that saddens me about Brad's death... he was one of the very few (if any) from that era that sounded exactly the same (or better) now than he did 30 years ago---not Steve Walsh, not Steve Perry, not Lou Grahm, etc.... none of those could keep their voices as pristine as Brads.

I saw Boston twice in the 70s and they were real good. I do not know what show you saw or if you really saw any. I saw them two years ago and they were amazing.I agree with the post above Delps vocals were amazing and sounded the same live.

It's his life and obviously he was in hell. I think it's the living people who say shit like this who are selfish.

I have a few Boston bootlegs from the late 70's and they are excellent. 5 worst bands? Exaggeration is so 30 years ago dude.

suicide is for fucken losers...there is always a way out of pain and misery.....you think it will end the pain....but it just creates a new era of pain and misery for your love ones
