Vocalist
Lacey Conner of industrial-metal rockers
NOCTURNE is currently featured as a cast member of the
VH1 "reality" TV show
"Rock of Love with Bret Michaels", starring
Bret Michaels from
POISON.
In a posting on her
MySpace page,
Lacey writes, "The reason I did the show
'Rock of Love' is basically because I thought it would be fun...simple as that. On the show, I must admit that I gave some of the girls a hard time. I like to shake things up, so to speak, and cause trouble! Haha! But in 'real life,' I love people, and I consider myself to be a compassionate human being who is kind to those who I care about. The show DID end up being a ton of fun to do...it was basically one of those 'crazy life experiences.' And to add to the enjoyment of this experience,
Bret truly was a total sweetheart (and a bit of a goofball!)."
Originally hailing from Dallas, Texas (now based out of L.A.),
NOCTURNE's
"Guide to Extinction" CD has received rave reviews.
NOCTURNE has toured the U.S. with the likes of
MUSHROOMHEAD,
DOPE,
PIGFACE,
KING DIAMOND, and
BILE, and has shared the stage with bands like
MINISTRY, the
GENITORTURES,
XEO3, and
OHGR.

"Rock of Love with Bret Michaels" focuses on the never-before-revealed private side of
POISON frontman
Bret Michaels. Residing with
Michaels in his Los Angeles rock palace, 20 women are tested on their devotion to him and their love and understanding of all that is rock 'n' roll. To help narrow the field,
Michaels puts these women through various challenges. The ladies who win these challenges will join
Michaels on some wild and exclusive excursions, while those who can't hang like true backstage VIPs will be escorted out in bona fide rock star fashion.
