Finland's
CHILDREN OF BODOM has been confirmed for next year's
Wacken Open Air festival, set to take place July 31 - August 2, 2008 in Wacken, Germany. Also scheduled to appear are headliners
IRON MAIDEN along with
LORDI and
KREATOR.
As previously reported, a new
CHILDREN OF BODOM track, entitled
"Tie My Rope", has been posted on the group's
MySpace page. The song comes off the forthcoming
"Viva La Bands, Vol. 2" album, which is scheduled for release on September 4 via
Ferret Music/
