LINKIN PARK Offering Limited-Edition Book On Recycled Paper
- July 30, 2007

|
Launch Radio Networks reports: LINKIN PARK is making available on the Projekt Revolution tour a limited-edition, 50-page book called "Revolution Unseen: The Hidden Art of Projekt Revolution". The book features artwork by LINKIN PARK members Chester Bennington, Mike Shinoda and Joe Hahn, MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE's Gerard Way and Ray Toro, and others on the tour. The book is printed on recycled paper, which Bennington said is part of a larger effort by LINKIN PARK to conserve and reuse materials. "All of our records, any paper product is all printed on this new material that is actually, it's like super-recycled," he said. "Even our inks are environmentally friendly, like, everything we do, we're trying to focus on polluting as little as possible."
Proceeds from the book will go to Music for Relief, to benefit disaster relief and reduce global warming.
The Projekt Revolution tour is an environmentally conscious "green" event, with one dollar from each ticket being donated to American Forests for their Global ReLeaf program to plant trees to help reduce global temperatures.
The tour's next date is Tuesday (July 31) in Chula Vista, California.
Fans who want a soundboard-quality recording of LINKIN PARK's set at each stop on the trek can pick one up at the merchandise booth after the show. Quantities are limited to 1,000 per night.

They both suck so bad it is unbelievable that anyone would pay $18.00 for a CD or $50.00 for a concert ticket to see them. Do either of these bands have any listen-able material that I might have missed?

Linkin Park is a postive band with positive music. Not too heavy and not too light.
I suggest you buy the new album and the first. If not, then I guess you are missing out.

They could save even more trees by not printing the book in the first place. Who would want to read that?

I can whipe my ass with their book and still be helping the environment! Of course that still wouldn't be quite as enjoyable as defecating on their guitar player in the middle of one of their sets, but hey I'll take what I can get.

Fitting that they're printing the book on recycled paper since they've been recycling songs their whole career.

I listen to more songs, this band sucks. What is all the hype with them? The singer sounds like he is winning all the time when he sings and all the songs sound the same. Funny thing is if this band went away, no one would care, it would not matter. They are so not relevant. But I can understand how the masses like this band, marketed to the brainless and sold to the idiots. They are everywhere.
What would we do without Exodus!!!!!!!!

Dont people know that recycling paper is bad for the enviroment? It takes more energy and more money. To Recycle paper then just to throw it away. And, whenever we cut down trees for paper, lumber, or any other reason. We order new trees to be planted. So you want more tree. Waist more paper.

just when I thought people could'nt get stubit-ER. What is wron with you people?! Why do you even read this if all you say in the comments in 'fuck them' and 'I'm so smart I can do shit like tell people I shit over bands', well, I'd really wanna know the reson these people give there time to this, if you, commenters, DON'T like them, the why the FUCK to comment ON THEM?!!! To tell you that, you'Re a bunch of REALLY sad people, and just check this, I'm a 13 year old with a effin' job and good payment. I just got out of 15 hoer shift and still I'm not halv as sad as you people... SAD. By the way, Recycled paper is more thain you hypocryted-of-nearly-human-beiing, stop trying to shit over other people when you get shitted right back. Like they said in Club Dread (almost/about); "You alway go on like a creep shitting in oter apple pies, but you just shit in the one apple pie that knows how to shit back" So take that to you're grave. I'd like to read that book instead of being like all of you fuckers that cant' think of making some changes, I mean look at Iceland, we're making our power from the freakin' water going through a box, you could at least check the recyceling with youre' poor asses. I'd like to see it when you sit at you're shit-whole wondering where all the paper went, that's going to happen someday you know, trees don't grow halv the thinges you use at youre ass a day in a month. And for my last words fucking over you, Linkin Park ROCKS, My Chemical Romance ROCKS and last but not least; KoRn ROCKS like NON OF YOU FUCKERS CAN IMAGEN YOURE BED MOVING TO.
Now, thanke you for taking that shitting, and good night and have a pleasant sleep in youre woodless world of no-life and un-powered earth, when all the world comes crawling to Iceland. ----Icelandic chicko---- .............................. nu-metal chick, will U be my friend?XD
