MARILYN MANSON Sued By Former Keyboardist/Drummer Over 'Partnership Proceeds'

According to the New York Post, former MARILYN MANSON keyboardist/drummer Stephen "Pogo" Bier is filing a lawsuit in Los Angeles today against Manson charging that instead of paying Bier for his services, the singer squandered his band's earnings on "sick and disturbing purchases of Nazi memorabilia and taxidermy (including the skeleton of a young Chinese girl)." Bier accuses the shock rocker and his "musketeers" (his business manager, lawyer and the band's manager) of assisting Manson "in filching millions of dollars the band made over the years." According to an e-mail sent to the New York Post's Page Six that was approved by Bier's lawyer, Keith Fink, Manson promised Bier "partnership proceeds" from the band in 1993, but then spluged on "a multimillion-dollar home, had a lavish wedding in Ireland, gave an engagement ring to Dita von Teese" and collected Nazi artifacts and taxidermy. When Bier asked for the "partnership proceeds," Manson "devised a campaign to drive Bier out of the band and rob him of his entitlement," the e-mail states. "Litigation will begin immediately."

Sad sad times. Marilyn Manson the band was far better than Marilyn Manson the person.
Manson, Twiggy, Ginger, Pogo, Daisy
Gone are the great days of a (formerly) great band.
Never thought i'd see the day Pogo left the band tbh....

P.S. I like Manson and the music but it's his sheep like fans that get on my tits. I don't think they realise that the way he dresses ,and the way the spotlight potrays him on stage, is all part of the act. I mean Manson looks the part on stage (in an Alice Cooper kind of way), or like what Kiss used to do. The 15 year olds that walk around in the middle of summer in fish net stockings and piercings in every orifice who have badly applied mascara melting on their acne ridden faces don't really potray the same sense of artistic freedom that Manson posseses on stage.

i agree, Pogo was Mansons best member. I never heard him speak until I saw the Donuhue Show episode that had Manson on it.

About Pogo being the best member. Even though he never really did anything.
He was like the Sid Vicious of the band, but with brains (Not that Sid was brainless, but he was very naive and ignorant, poor lad).

Marilyn Manson is pretty much like Guns N Roses at this point then....
I like Tim Skold and all, but this new record fucking stinks. How can the band that made Angel with the Scabbed Wings and Reflecting God be shitting out music like that?

Time to pay up it seems for Marilyn Manson....It's too bad it had to come to this, but it seems as if each former member has had to do the same thing and sue Manson for what they RIGHTLY deserve and what they earned legitimately....
Pogo was the longest standing member of that band...it's a shame to see an era die the way it is...crumbeling to nothing..a pity...
I hope pogo wins his lawsuit!

I didnt go to the west palm show..I wasnt paying to see that..sorry...
I did go to the AAG show in orlando and was treated very repectfully by manson when i went backstage
I shot Lucas an email telling him he was named in a few of the articles like the VH1 article on the lawsuit..he made an unofficial comment via email to me...i dont think its something to be posted as it was said to me personally not publically
I hope to god Pogo wins his lawsuit
I know what ginger got paid yearly and its not even enough to buy a mercedes...so...you cn imagine what hes trying to do to pogo about now
glad i knew him when he was a decent human being and not what hes become...someone i dont recognize anymore..what a shame...

it is pretty sad that none of the original bandmates are left pogo wasn't even their from the begining and i just hope ginger fish doesn't leave the band i don't think fans are going to be to happy with another member leaving if he does. Chris Vrenna doesn't seem to horrible we will just have to see how things play out.
