OZZY OSBOURNE: New Video Interview Available
- Aug. 8, 2007
My Damn Channel, which went online last week, has posted a brand new, wide-ranging interview with Ozzy Osbourne in which he talks about his early days with BLACK SABBATH, the songwriting process and his latest solo album, "Black Rain". Watch the interview, which was conducted by music producer Don Was, in four parts below.
According to The Associated Press, My Damn Channel is the brainchild of former MTV and CBS Radio executive Rob Barnett, who believes Internet audiences want to see professionally produced shows other than network TV fare.
"The old media companies don't know how to program for this medium," Barnett said. "There is a focus on reruns and outtakes, and I don't think that cuts it.”
My Damn Channel will syndicate its videos on other Internet sites and collect revenue from advertising. The site has already signed a distribution deal with YouTube, which is owned by Google Inc.

He sounds great in this interview. Seems very comfortable and I am glad to see him doing so well. Love the new album and all the ones before as well. Long live the Prince of Darkness!!!

First post. I guess that is supposed to be cool on here. At least that is what I see all the time from all you haters. Stop hating and go out make something of your life or shut the fuck up and quit bashing on the ones who have.

Hmmmm... is he sure he is sober? I think Sharon is slipping him dope in his food.
To metal beer 666 I am not new, I just never post and I know first post is lame. I was being a smart ass but you couldn't hear the tone in my voice because I was writing, not talking and I am not good with all these symbols people use to get their points across.
To Thrash me, Ozzy did write vocal lines in Sabbath and he came up with a lot of lyrics for his solo work. True it took a lot of help from Daisley and Rhoads but if you listen to Studio out takes from his albums you will hear a lot of the same lyrics that end up in his songs Daisley just helped a lot with structuring the songs for him. But Ozzy did have al ot of the lyrics already written. Long may he reign!!
