I remember from their last album back in 2002, the single rocked too.

It was heavy, this is damn good.

glad it's just rock n roll and not trying to be as heavy as fuck.

i liked the last album (don't worship it like most on BM) but to me the Cult is first and foremost a great ROCK band, not metal.

this single has a cool vibe and i like Billy's lead tone.

rock on, brothers.

cheers.

nice. sounds good. wish they had a more complex/full drum thing going on like they did on the 95 album, but they work well with simple drums.

kinda hope this ain't the first/only single; covers similar territory as that velvet revolver ode to paris.

:)olc

at work here and i have to say:

fucking cool.

Ian sounds, great, great guitar and awesome tone, upbeat drumming that makes me wanna move... sounds like good lyrics.

God bless thrash, black metal and all things heavy but the world needs some kick ass rock and roll too.

cheers.

Am I the only one that noticed that the main riff is a direct ripoff of the Rolling Stones' "Undercover of the Night" from their "Undercover" album?

i've haven't heard that in a while, so off the top of my head i can't say, but it is a pretty generic riff, so i wouldn't be surprised.

that said, the whole is greater than the sum of the parts by far. the riff alone doesn't make it; it's a great band effort that make it great.

the riff alone with a lesser singer could be lame. But that's the power of Ian. he fucking sounds amazing and it's unbelievable he's been a pro since the early 80s.

cheers.

cheers.
