OZZY OSBOURNE's latest album, "Black Rain", is being reissued today (Tuesday, August 14) by Epic in a new jewel-case package containing the full booklet with lyrics and new color cover art and photos. But there are a couple of spots that make me pretty certain Ozzy is lip-synching. Especially during the second chorus.
Granted the video and sound might not be synched really well or whatever... But a couple of times he doesn't even have the mic in front of his face when he starts "singing" and when he says "Come on!" and things, his voice is noticeably quieter than when he's singing.
Methinks something is up.

He is singing along to a track. So you hear two voices -- his actual voices and the voice on tape. You can clearly hear two separate voices there. That's why even when he moves the mic away from his face there is singing coming out of the speakers.

The following are individuals I've seen live and have witnessed the use of a teleprompter. Ozzy, Rob Halford, Steven Tyler, Ian Astbury, Zakk Wylde and Axl Rose. It's also widely known that Brian Johnson, Elton John and Bruce Springsteen use them. Frank Sinatra was famous for it while he was alive as well.

how anyone can deduce from a shitty bootleg that he's singing to a backing track is beyond me. if this was a pro shot thing, yeah, def. but it's clearly not pro shot. and i saw ozzy last month at ozzfest. he sounded good, sans backing track. and WHY does every ozzy thread turn into a big Dio circle jerk?
Love Dio!!!!!!!! Nothing wrong with ozzy. Just remember getting heaven and hell when i was ten and thinking this is the greatest thing ever. Then someone's older brother said hey sabbath got a bunch more albums that are better. I walked to school and skipped lunch to save up for another album. Went to the store and asked for the album before this. The clerk sold me never say die and was i pissed. Then the dude's older brother loaned me masters of reality and volume 4. Then ozzy was forgiven and in good graces.

I don't really wish death upon anyone, its just that I think Dio has a lot more talent than Ozzy ever did and will be. I think his lyrics are hilarious though, and I'm not some "Dio" zombie. In fact, my fave Sabbath is with Ozzy, but I think Dio has more integrity at this point. Stalin Osbourne rerecords shit, and also uses backing vocals..Dio doesn't- thats what I am saying. And when is Tony Martin ever going to get his due? I just hated the Nu Metal fans who thought that Ozzy wrote the songs. There was this moron at Ozzfest who thought that BLACK SABBATH were going to do Crazy Train. NOT FUCKING KIDDING. What morons there are around.. thats why I bash the machine known as "Stalin Osbourne".
