TOMMY LEE's New Game: Machinima Videos - Oct. 4, 2007
Former MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer and sometime Internet video star Tommy Lee is getting back into the vid business, in a manner of speaking, this time with film director Zach Snyder of "300" fame. Seems the duo are avid video gamers and fans of "machinima," the new genre of filmmaking that uses video games and their engines as virtual backdrops for user-generated videos, most notably displayed in the World of Warcraft-themed 10th season premiere of "South Park". Lee was the first rocker to use this novel form of filmmaking in the video for his tune "Good Times".

Lee and Snyder are serving as the head judges of Lifeskool TV "Show Us Your Sickest Trick Contest," a machinima filmmaking competition created in partnership with the web central for this new flavor of moviemaking, www.machinima.com. The grand prize is a 12-day trip to New York to meet Jonathan Drubner, host of Lifeskool TV's video game series "Gamers Dojo", and to work with Chris Burke of Bong + Dern, the creators of machinima's hottest property, the Halo talk show "The Spartan Life".

Aspiring machinimites have until January 31, 2008 to get their game-driven film masterpieces together and to submit them to www.machinima.com/lifeskool.

now that's much more interesting than doing another nikki sixx record, i mean motley crue record. let's see, something new, adventurous, challenging, futuristic or repeating the same limited music, because nikki is not capable of writing music that reflects the present times...............advancing minds support tommy, narrow-minded people will critize him as their world grows smaller with each passing birthday.

your lack of intellect is humorous, explains why you are a nikki fan. he has legions of weak and narrow minded fans, because people with expansive intellect minds can't tolerate such lazy incoherent music nikki creates, everything he puts out is old rehashed garbage. you need to give your mind a challenge, but instead you feed into the spin doctor's spew. don't insult sebastian bach by putting "baz" in motley, be a little more orignal.

you can be intellectual and listened to metal. my choice of music varies from ministry, danzig, sebastian bach, axl rose, hanoi rocks, the cult, jeff buckley, lukas rossi, white stripes, alice in chains, johnny cash, metallica, him, type o negative and goes all the way to celtic as well. most of the posters on this forum are posers themselves and i detest hypocrites. some of the posters on here need to refrain from trying to impress others with their own importance. and some think they are thinking when all they are doing is rearranging their prejudices.

last but not least, sebastian doesn't need axl or the crue on his album, he has enough talent and achievement to stand alone. "success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as the obstacles which he has overcome while trying to succeed". sebastian was stabbed in the back by his so called brothers, who once said in an interview, "we would take a bullet for one another". well, i guess they didn't say anything about a knife in the back. anyways, sebastian was left without a band, but he advanced forward confidently for years.....skid row is nothing but a memory now, but sebastian is stronger than ever. try and appreciate his achievements instead of expressing jealousy. envy is not attractive.

Just shut up...stop trying to be so "intellectually higher" than us. You worship a guy from a glam metal band who thinks hes a black man. wears his hat sideways and DJs.

Im pretty sure if you showed the shout at the devil tommy what he would be in 20 years he would cry
