SLAYER: Video Interview With KERRY KING Posted Online - Oct. 26, 2007
Metal Hammer has just uploaded a five-minute video interview with Kerry King of SLAYER conducted at the Download festival, which took place in early June at Donington Park in England. Watch the clip below.

As previously reported, Marshall Amplification has secured the appearance of Kerry King during the Music Live event, which is being held November 2-4, 2007 at the NEC in Birmingham, England. King will be on the Marshall stand every day of the show to sign autographs.

For more information, visit www.musiclive.co.uk.

Kerry King recently spoke to Hails & Horns magazine about the status of his KFK Industries clothing line which he launched in 2003.

"It's been down for almost a year," Kerry said. "I've moved twice in, like, 15 months so I'm getting all settled in my new place. I'm getting as much SLAYER touring out of the way, then I'm going to relaunch it with a new name and new product. It's still KFK [which stands for 'Kerry Fucking King' — Ed.], but it's going to be "Ministries" instead of "Industries." There are companies where I live called "Industries," but I'm, like, "Nobody has 'Ministries,'' so we went with that one. When we re-launch, it will be KFKIndustries.com. We already got a domain name and all that. It's just waiting for me to have time to relaunch it correctly."

Regarding what he will be selling through the new company, Kerry said, "We got a lot of cool t-shirt designs, stickers and got a cool skullcap made. Hopefully I'll have the first 50 armbands I've been making. I've got some work cut out for me."

but a lot of that is probably due to the deceiving nature of music mags.

Not like I care about Limp Bizkit, but you can almost bet that quote would be bold and in huge print aside from the article.

I was wondering, will you be selling those groovy sunglasses in your catalogue. I might need them to look at a nuclear blast safely, that my eyes don't burn out of their sockets. Or, if in case of an alien invasion, maybe with some green paint and the specs I can pass as one of the martians.

He's a really nice guy. When he's in a good mood he's fuckin' hilarious and cool as fuck. He has a great attitude and tells it like it is. Some people don't like that. Oh well. Slayer really has become quite a good metal band in the "mature" years. I have seen them live many, many times, and it's always been bad ass.
In fact, I stood six fuckin' feet in front of him and Jeff while they played the bridge riffage in Angel of Death, and it was one of the best live concert moments of my life...

And let me start it off on the right foot by saying that "KFK" ha ha! is a fat, ignorant douche. And Slayer is and always has been overrated, that includes "Reign In Blood".

Reign in Blood overrated....tell me what album topped that in 1987. None. I owned this album the second week it came out and still haven't stopped listening to it. That defines a classic in my book.
