First LINKIN PARK Dates Of 2008 Surface
- Nov. 26, 2007
The Pulse of Radio reports: The first two dates of LINKIN PARK's next headlining North American tour, scheduled for February and March of 2008, have been announced. The trek will reportedly kick off on February 16 in Detroit, with the next stop on February 18 in Manchester, New Hampshire. COHEED AND CAMBRIA is said to be opening, although more support acts could be announced. A New York City show is also in the cards, although the date for that has yet to be determined. The jaunt will be LINKIN PARK's second major trip around North America in support of its "Minutes to Midnight" album, following this past summer's Projekt Revolution festival.
Another Projekt Revolution package is also in the works for later in 2008.
LINKIN PARK made history on November 18 by becoming the first international rock group to perform at a stadium in China, playing for a sold-out audience at the prestigious Shanghai Hongkou Stadium.
LINKIN PARK's Music For Relief organization teamed this month with Unite the United on an eBay auction, with proceeds going to recovery and reforesting efforts in the Southern California areas devastated by last month's wildfires.
One of the prizes in the auction is a trip to New York to see the band perform.

Meanwhile..
And i wonder why this isnt a news item yet. Coheed and Cambira pulled out of Soundwave Festival, to play these linkin park dates. They were getting paid more to be at soundwave and it would be infront of more fans. I dont see why they took linkin park up on their offer..
