GODSMACK Frontman Questioned In Massachusetts Murder Probe

Dave Wedge of BostonHerald.com reports: Grammy-nominated GODSMACK frontman Sully Erna and a guitar hero pal partied with a Tyngsboro, Massachusetts woman just days before she was allegedly slashed to death by her jealous husband, and both rockers have been questioned as part of the murder probe, the Herald has learned. Erna, lead singer of the multi-platinum Bay State metal band, recently met Christine McGee ( Photo#1, Photo#2) and hung out with her and others on at least three occasions in the days leading up to her savage murder last week, according to Erna's manager, Paul Geary. "She was pretty enamored with the whole thing. She was at his house and couldn't believe she was hanging around Sully," Geary said. "She was kind of like star-struck." But Geary said Erna was not romantically involved with the 31-year-old McGee, and that the rocker met her through his musician pal Gary Hoey. Read the entire article at BostonHerald.com.

Not romantically involved... okay... but that doesn't mean she didn't have his balls across her chin.
I'm w/ thrashmonger on this one... No broad's worth prison time. If she wants to ball sub-par low-rate rip-off poseur rock-stars ...good for her now. He shoulda just nailed her sisters, her friends and her mother and took pictures of it all for her... not killed the poor girl. what a dumb ass. R.I.P. Christine.

First, it does not say anywhere she slept with him, so quit making assumptions.
Second, I understand what they mean by "star-struck." If I met the lead singer of my favorite band, or of any band that I enjoy for that matter, I'd be pretty stoked myself. That does not mean, however, that I am going to go sleep with the guy - and, as the reports say, she didn't sleep with him, either.
The husband lost control, and should be punished likewise.

When somebody is murdered, the police go to everybody that they can find that had some kind of interaction to see if they know anything at the very least.
"Wasting their time with finding motives"? I'm hoping your are like 10 years old, or not from the US. Its next to impossible to convict a criminal without finding and proving motive.

If she was married, she shouldn't have been hanging out and partying with some other guy, let alone, three times. It doesn't matter if he's famous or not.
Did the guy go too far? Obviously, but it's not hard to see why he was pissed.

It does not matter what she was doing with who and how many times. It does not matter if she was star struck. If her neanderthal husband killed her he should fry PERIOD. That is what the crime is here...well that and the IQ level of the husbands neanderthal gene pool that posts here. Do you really think that screwing friends and family of your girlfriend is going to bother her once she has been with you? I would speculate...good riddance.

wow! first the car crash now this,i couldnt imagine how stressed out sully must be.especally him just hanging out with her days before she was murdered.sully must feel terrible. Hang in there sully,things will get better.

People need to stop running their mouth. Godsmack is a great band and Sully Erna is f**kin' hot! Sully wouldn't waste his time murdering anybody he's to busy making the big bucks, which is more than any of you can say. Sully has done more in his life than any of you have done in yours. It doesn't matter how short he is, it matters on how much he f**kin' rocks! DON'T MESS WITH A GODSMACK FAN BI*CHES! And I don't care how late I am posting this message, it needed to be said!
